Here you will find all the hotels/hostels/homestays that I've stayed at around the world. My recommendations are honest, so I only listed those that I really liked and would stay at again.
You can find them for each country in an alphabetical order to make searching easier for you and recommendations are everything from low-budget to 5 star hotels.
As I'm always travelling, I will keep adding new places to this list.
Please note:
Creating these guides takes up quite some time so if you like one of my recommended accommodations, it would really help me if you'd book through my link as I'll receive a small commission. The price will stay the same for you, it only helps me to be able to provide more free content in the future. So it's a win-win for both of us and I'd be very grateful for your support!🙂

One of the things that is so great about Australia? Whatever the Australians do, it seems to be impossible for them to disappoint you when it comes to coffee ☕. They simply have the best coffee in the world. Even at places where you might expect the worst. Although, do not take my opinion as a fact; I have not been everywhere yet, but from my experience and the shared opinions of other people I met throughout my travels, it could be true.
So, when the coffee is good, we start paying attention to the details. How is the presentation? Is there beautiful latte art? Does my to-go cup look cute? All totally unrelated to the quality of the coffee. But let’s be honest right here: we all think coffee tastes better when there is a beautifully designed swan in our cup.
That’s why this map of recommendations focuses on the coffee places along the East Coast that provide that little extra. The ones that will make you remember drinking that delicious latte and make you want to visit them again.
This map is for the traveler who, just like me, is exploring the highlights of the East Coast at a quick pace and does not want to waste one single cup of coffee along the journey.
📍 Covered destinations in this map: Melbourne, Sydney, Byron Bay, Noosa.

With an airport and resort town less than 30 minutes from the site itself, Uluru is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to visit the Australian Outback. Because of this convenience, visiting Uluru from any other Australian city is the perfect trip for a long weekend, and you won't feel like you missed anything. The guide below details exactly what I did and includes:
- A day-by-day guide of what to see (and an option to see Uluru in 2 days, perfect for a Friday-Sunday trip!)
- What tours I chose to go on, and why I chose not to go on others
- My personal tips and mistakes to avoid!

Cairns is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and a dream destination for most, and there's a plethora of online info out there about how to visit. However, this trip can quickly get expensive, not fun, and borderline unsafe if you book the wrong tours or go at the wrong time of year. This guide will give you the best tips that features:
- A day-by-day guide of what to see and where to go
- Minimal reliance on guided tours, focusing instead on self-driving to cut costs and avoid crowds
- How to see the Great Barrier Reef in the best weather conditions
- How to do this trip in (a little more than) 72 hours, so that you only have to take one day off

Planning a trip to Australia? This guide will give you a detailed overview of all the best places to see along the East Coast. I would give yourself at least four - six weeks to experience everything the East Coast has to offer, though the itinerary can easily be adapted to fit a longer or shorter timeline.
This guide includes 11 destinations along the coast, including a breakdown of all the differences between different Fraser Island and Whitsundays trips. It also includes a detailed list of how to get around, where to stay, and what to do in each destination.
I've been to all of these places myself, and also work as a travel agent planning and booking East Coast trips. Send me an email for your free custom made itinerary!
