Cocktails & Pizza

Who would have thought a slice of their iconic Pablo Pepperoni Pizza would pair to perfection (pairfection?) with a Pornstar Martini? Not me. And boy was I wrong!

Owner Dan and chef Pat have created the perfect recipe for an early night out on Chapel, making your belly 3000% satisfied and getting you tipsy just the right amount thanks to classic cocktails with a twist and signature shots.

Pro-tip: don't forget to order the chipotle mayo side to dip your crusts! - Pizza crusts you nasty!

Beers & Tenders

Not technically on Chapel, but I just couldn't live with myself if I hadn't mentioned this beautiful place whose chicken tenders have lived rent-free in my mind since 2020. Located in a tiny house, squeezed between buildings, Leonards House of Love does live up to its name.

Whether you're looking for a chill hang with a 70s rock'n'roll twist, the best pub food in Melbourne, or just a good pint of beer, this is the place for you.

Pro-tip: also order the side of chipotle mayo, please, trust me! It's 50% because I'm obsessed with this dip, 50% because this is gonna be the best chicken tender dip in your life!

Maki & Poke

Originally discovered following an irrepressible craving for poke, Maki Mix quickly became our favourite fresh-food joint. Everyone in this place is always crazy nice and the food is just that good that you can't help but come back a little too often.

For me, the winning combo was definitely poke bowl + sushi roll, but I have to give a shoutout to these one-of-a-kind sushi tacos! PS: if you like your Insta to look colourful, you're not gonna be disappointed!

My personal favourite: the Prawn Tempura Roll - two things, 1, if you aren't Aussie, this might be a tough one to order, 2, no this isn't an obsession with spicy mayo.

Breaky & Birdy

What can I tell you except that this is THE BEST BRUNCH PLACE EVER. Should I expand? If like me, you love breakfast food at all hours, you're gonna love it.

With an extensive 'All day breaky' menu, Yellow Bird is gonna satisfy your cravings like you've only dreamt it possible. Breaky Burgers, Burritos, or Tacos, Hash and shrooms, Death Benedict, the list goes on! Order yourself a little mimosa or bloody Mary on the side and get ready to chill on their Chapel St terrace.

Foodie, digital nomad, and travel blogger, since everyone always asks: 'do you have any recommendations for [insert destination]?', I figured, why not regroup my personal favs into travel guides? Originally from Paris, as a Digital Nomad, I've been on the move quite a bit these last few years! I've lived in London, Madrid, Kraków, Melbourne, Wellington, Austin, and now Valencia. I'm not pretending to be an expert in each city, but as an explorer, I like to find hidden gems that I'm happy to share with you! To be honest, I aslo created a wonderful network of friends across the globe, whom I've asked for their "local favorites" to complete my guides. Hope you enjoy!
