In 2022 I made the life changing decision to move to Australia. I was planing to only stay for a few months, but now it is 2024 and I am still living here. Maybe it is the weather, the people, the freedom or the culture. Whatever it is, Australia will forever be my home away from home.
Moving to another country can be hard, not only for the culture difference and living far away from your loved onces, but also for the practial stuff that needs to be in order in order to work and actually live there. The first thing that needs to be in order before going to Australia and work there is to apply for a working holiday visa.
When the visa is approved you have 12months to enter the country, and the visa starts running from the day you arrive. You can apply to this visa until you are 30, and some countries even to you are 31.
You dont have to do like me and be terrefied of arrival in Australia after watching border control on TV. You dont have to print out every document and information, cause the visa is already in your passport. However it is always good to have backup, but it is not neccesarry.
