72 Hours in Uluru
Before You Go...
RENT A CAR (if you can!)
I'd recommend renting a car. There's a hop-on, hop-off bus (schedule below), but it only stops occasionally, and you don't want to be caught in the brutal heat waiting for the bus. Similarly, there are tours that take you into Uluru, but they're expensive (think AUD$100+) and can add up quickly. If you can drive, having a car gives you the flexibility to visit during sunrise or sunset hours when the heat isn't as bad, and you can bring as much water with you in the car, too.
WHERE TO STAY AND EAT
There are very few options to stay and eat. You can find a list of all the accommodations below. I normally don't stay in hostels, but I chose this option at the Outback Lodge because I didn't feel that the hotels were worth the vastly more expensive price.
