When I first arrived in Guardia, Luigi Orso would pass me in his pickup truck as I was walking around, minding my own business, he'd motion for me to hop in and off we'd go to visit his friends in the countryside. I never knew where we were headed but it was always an adventure. On one such occasion he drove me to the Santa Lucia church in Sassinoro, a magical, sacred place along the Archangel Michael's lei line. I went back often seeking the serenity of nature and the Divine. I've since discovered other magical sites in the area which I put together in this guide. Take this lovely excursion from Guardia Sanframondi to the Santa Lucia church built into a mystical cave in Sassinoro and on to the Ruins of Sepino without the crowds of Pompei. Vegan sushi might sound unusual, but it is definitely a thing. Restaurants nowadays have become incredibly creative in crafting beautiful and delicious vegan sushi rolls that will give you pause. Vegan sushi can also serve as a great alternative for those who enjoy those flavours but aren’t big fans of raw fish. I have a couple of friends who aren’t vegan but actually prefer vegan sushi over fish sushi as they find it to be less intense. Another consideration is the cost. So, I’d say it’s a win-win combination. I’ve compiled a list of some of my favourite vegan-friendly sushi restaurants in and around central London. Some of them are more affordable, while others are a bit more upscale. There’s absolutely no compromise on taste, but the ambience and service may vary.

These things are my essentials for the city of bridges but I figured I'd give them to you for free cause we're friends. 😉 Porto has my heart. Always and Forever (Iykyk) I'm a creature of habit who believes in short stays vs vacations. 1-3 months vs 1-3 week and so these are the essentials for me (though these will work for everyone). Let´s have a Gluten Free Fika in Gothenburg! I am living here since a year now as a celiac and share the cafés where I had good gluten-free experiences with so far. Fika is the daily practised Swedish tradition of having a cup of coffee and something sweet to eat, calm down for a moment and chat with family, friends or colleagues. Usually, in Sweden you can ask for a gluten-free alternative and it is common that they have at least f.ex. a brownie to offer. I am thankful for the general offer of alternatives, yet I prefer to visit places where I can eat more than the obligatory brownie to my Swedish Fika ;-). Therefore, I recommend only the locations where I was satisfied with the gluten-free possibilities! Furthermore, I will not link cafés in the charming old town district of Haga. There are several, but I personally found them very touristy and therefore prefer to walk through it but then visit other places for a fika. NOTE! In Sweden, oat milk is the usual dairy milk alternative. Make sure to ask for the right milk of your choice in case. And now enjoy :-)
