Arsicault Bakery

Known for their almond croissants, they also make a mean ham & cheese croissant and of course, the classic is equally as delicious. All, well worth the wait. Prepare to queue! Coffee next door.

Stop 2: Head over (you may wanna walk to make room for the carb-fest) to the Lower Pacific Heights neighbourhood to explore this patisserie. Lots of beautiful Victorian architecture can be found.

So many choices from macarons, croissants, tarts, and more. There's something for everyone. They're known for their ever-changing Kouign Amann menu and their Chocolate Banana Croissant. My personal favourite is their rhubarb, Kouign Amann. They also offer a few gluten-free treats. Pro Tip: Order online for faster pick-up. Closed Monday & Tuesday.

Stop 3: Hop on the 1 bus or grab a ride share. We're heading to the intersection of the North Beach & Financial District neighbourhoods. Up close and center is a view of the Transamerica Pyramid and Coit Tower in the distance.

Maison Nico
@fralikbydesign
A thoughtful selection of coffee and viennoiserie, sophisticated French pâtés, and terrines in a French-inspired market/cafe. Maison Nico is pretty popular with limited seating. I recommend arriving early if you want to dine in. Pro Tip: In a hurry, take it to go and enjoy it picnic style in Washington Square Park. Open Tuesday to Sunday.
