This one is in Ingyedong so basically in the heart of good food, drinks and night life.
Their buffet is famous and easily recognized as the best hotel buffet in Suwon. A real popular wedding venue so on the weekends the lobby may be a bit hectic.
Got all the necessary ammenities like gym, hot bath and coin wash area. Not the biggest rooms and facilities but the location is great and you'll get the best breakfast buffet Suwon has to offer.
Smaller rooms but clean. Great location with fab restaurants starting from just behind the building.
I've used this hotel multiple times when I lived in Jeju and commuted to Suwon. Back then it was HolidayinnExpress but o
This one is away from all the other hotels. It is located in Gwanggyo, which is quieter and calmer than Ingye dong. Close the aquarium, but I suggest the one in Seoul lotte or Jeju Aqua
This hotel is more for business stays rather than holiday goers. Funtional, and ok location! plenty of food options and ok transport.

Here are my Airbnb suggestions for those who are ok with a simple clean room! In my opinion, you'll be outside visiting and sightseeing so the accommodation doesn't have to be a hotel. And honestly, having a little kitchen and washing machine for less price is a plus too. The below are all under 100,000 won per night, more around 2 ppl but you can also search for better places yourself too!
Hi I'm charlie!
Born Korean, moved to NZ when I was like 13? until I graduated uni and returned to KR.
I started thatch because I wanted to share my favourite spots.
I love to yap but I'm camera shy with no video skills to be an influencer.
However I have SUCH GOOD RECS that's too good to gatekeep.
I'm INFP but a total J when it comes to travel (gotta make my moneys worth)
Why hire me?
1. Korea can be surprisingly daunting to plan a trip because there is just so much info. I filter out SNS hype and suggest super duper authentic restaurants that serves food my grandma would've cooked for me when I was a child. I'm also that friend that will make you try the most ?#?!!$?? foods
* I also have tea on local restaurant feuds LMAO*
2. New Zealand on the other hand, has very little/too niche. My kind of niche info would be eg " Be careful of pukekos (NZ bird) when driving at high speeds at night. Those bastards are big and will dent your car." "have a look at 'grab one' for deals on NZ activities" + school cultural day dates (it's a great expereince if you're curious about NZ education and schools!)
Cusom itineraries saves you weeks if not months of planning and doubting if the experience is worth it/authentic. Trust the local for only the best on you next trip!
Questions I ask for a custom itinerary
1. Are you a solo/friend group/family (+rough age range)
2. Time of the year you will visit & duration.
3. Any compulsory activities/destination to include
4. Public transport or car rental?
5. Rough budget
6. Dietary requirements
**I can accomodate vegan and vegetarians but my knowledge on Halal are limited in Korea!** NZ = can plan trips for ALL.
I am not a big K-pop, K-beauty. K-drama person and suggest other guides more specialized in that area!
