Enjoy a luxurious week in the Alps. St Anton am Arlberg is one of the most famous ski resorts for a reason.
While this guide is aimed at family ski trips, St Anton is a great place to go in both summer and winter and you can tailor this to a friends or couples trip!
St Anton has more than 300 km of marked slopes and 200 km of off-piste trails, experience the best of Austrian skiing and relaxation within a beautiful resort.
Travelling to St Anton is easy if you plan to fly into Innsbruck airport. It's about an hour from the airport by either car or direct train (return is around €40). The winter ski season runs from early December to late April and the summer season between June and September.
Where to stay
A location in the centre of St Anton is ideal for quick access to the slopes and restaurants. I loved staying in Raffl's, take a look at the link below to find out more! It's conveniently located between the main ski lifts Nassereinbahn and Gampenbahn. It's also close to buses if you want to access other ski areas and walking distance to the high street.
Raffl's has great accommodation, incredible staff and delicious food. It boasts a spa, indoor/outdoor pool and kids playroom. It walking distance from the slopes, lifts and centre of town for restaurants!

Ski passes and equipment
I always like to do this on arrival day as I can then get off skiing as soon as possible. Doing it at Nassereinbahn (Ski lift) means everything is all in one place. I would recommend Alber Sport for equipment and get your passes from the lift ticket office upstairs.
Alber Sport was a quick and easy process. They have a wide range of ski gear and were great at helping the kids too. You can store your gear here, meaning that you dont have to take it back through town, although Raffl's do have storage if you prefer and want to use different lifts each day.

On Piste Dining
These are my favourite restaurants that are ski in/ski out and perfect for everyone!
Offers all the classic delicious Austrian food and a fun atmosphere with inside and outside seating. easy access at the top of the slope, with great views. I would book in advance to ensure you get a table at the time you want!
An excellent indoor trampoline park for the kids to hang out at. Perfect for an afternoon off the slopes! They also offer bowling, basketball and rock climbing. Great fun and close to the centre of town.
