3 separate families including 6 parents and 8 teenage children embark on a trip of a lifetime to exotic Thailand for two weeks. Will amazing food be eaten? Amazing sights seen? Will drama ensue?
This itinerary purposely has us staying in each spot for a minimum of 3 days so as to minimize travel hassles etc. To us it was a great Thailand 101 and there were lots of activities to keep us busy and also good chill time.
If we had extra time and more ability to move around we would add Koh Samui and Angkor Watt in Cambodia to the itinerary.
This itinerary includes where to stay and eat and what to do. Hotels in this itinerary are upper tier, not quite luxury (with the exception of Bankgok) but still very nice.

While living in Orvieto, Italy, I had many months to explore all of the different (& very tasty) restaurants, cafes, and bars in town. For a town that is only a mile long, there is a lot packed in -- and mostly for a very affordable price. Not all of these are open year-round; if traveling between Christmas and the end of February, expect some closures or shortened hours.
Italians usually have a quick & very light breakfast -- some espresso and maybe a pastry. Don't expect a full American breakfast anywhere you travel in Italy! Lunch is usually one course, typically very quick like pizza or small plate pasta. Aperitivo is Italy's happy hour, but much cooler. Usually, with the purchase of a drink the snacks come free (and flowing!). Traditional Italian dinner is at least 3 courses, though at some restaurants you are not expected to order that many. Depending on how nice the restaurant is though, you may be expected to order 2. Because Orvieto is smaller (& because you don't tip in Italy) a two-course dinner is typical and budget-friendly. And remember -- it is inappropriate to leave food leftover on your plate.
Another important note about Italian cafe/restaurant culture is that a lot of the spots on this list are interchangeable. In Italy, it is typical/expected that a cafe is open for coffee & pastries at breakfast time, transition to a lunch after noon with quick plates, aperitivo in the afternoon, and a bar after dinner. For restaurants, they typically open around noon for lunch (if they even open for lunch), then resume around dinnertime. Rule of thumb is that anywhere that starts serving dinner before 7/7:30 isn't authentic & is a tourist trap.

Finding a place to grab coffee, eat lunch, or enjoy a nice dinner while traveling is hard enough as is, but when you’re in a big city, the options are truly overwhelming.
While my guides are full of one-of-a-kind restaurants for certain neighborhoods, this Essential Eateries map includes the top few Boston-specific chains that will help you eat like a local on the go. Not only that, but I include a backstory of each chain, my top menu suggestion, and what I consider to be the best location to visit.
This guide can also serve as a “What NOT to Eat” if you’re the kind of person who only wants to try single-location restaurants and want to determine if the place you’re interested in dining is a chain. Just pull up this map when you’re out and about to see where the nearest spots are when your tummy starts rumbling!
Get access to ALL the Boston area locations of 14 regional chains, including:
☕️ 2 Coffee Shops
🥐 5 Bakeries
🥡 5 Fast-Casual Restaurants
🍽️ 1 Table Service Restaurant
🍦 1 Dessert Spot
Worried this info is out-of-date? Fear not! I'll be updating this guide every six months for accuracy, as well as to add new favorites I find along the way.

As a foodie and person who worked in restaurants for 6 years, I love discovering new places, especially in London where you can find all kinds of cuisines. 😋
This is a list of my favourites and I will keep adding to it as I keep trying new restaurants, it has all the budget ranges, so you can pick the one that fits your needs the most. ✨
🪙Low Budget: Up to £15pp
👛Budget: Up to £35pp
💸Pricey: Up to £150pp
✨Michelin: at least one star
When I refer to these prices, I have in mind a main with tap water for the low budget, while for the others it would be a nice meal, including a drink, starter and/or dessert.
I have never been to a Michelin-star restaurant, but I've added the ones I would love to try to the list.
On each restaurant tab, I will give you my own opinion and what you can expect, so that it is easier for you to understand the best option.

Explore Iceland Ring Road in 5 days. More than 1800 km in less than a week might sound like a challenge when you are traveling with kids but with multiple exciting stops on the way and a good night sleep in between the complaints will be limited.
Kids will especially enjoy the drive during the summer when you can see a lot of animals (mostly 🐑) during the whole drive. June is especially nice to visit Iceland because there are a lot of baby animals that are such an excitement to spot!

As a Miami native who no longer lives in her natural habitat, my favorite part of visiting home now is being able to explore all the fancy hotels in the area.
Also, if you're saying to yourself, "I don't want a fancy hotel why can't I just book an Airbnb?"
Unfortunately, hotels and Airbnb's in the area are not very nice, so while you may save some money you won't be able to experience all Miami has to offer.
Ok now that we got that out the way let's talk about Miami neighborhoods, in this guide I share my favorite areas to stay Brickell, South Beach, Aventura and Coral Gables.

If you’re going on holiday to see a beautiful and calm sea,
You’re going in the wrong place.

This is the exact itinerary I put together for my wife and I during our first Eurotrip. Paris was our second stop from starting in London. Why no Louvre? You could spend an entire day there to appreciate all of the art and given our limited time I thought it best to save the Louvre for a return trip when the weather wasn't as nice. I used my network of people who have lived in Paris and visited before to curate the ultimate first Paris trip.
Pro Tip: I loved traveling in May for our Eurotrip. The weather was perfect the entire time and the cost is significantly cheaper than traveling in the peak summer season.
What's Included in this Guide?
*Recommendations on where to stay and eat
*Key sights to see for your 1st time
*Guidance on how to get around
*Day trip to Versailles
*An Unforgettable Experience
My wife and I still talk about this trip and the unforgettable memories we made. I hope you have the same experience we did.
