Chicken Rice ball being a famous dish in Melaka, there's lots of places that sells this. However, we prefer this compared to the one at Jonker Walk as this is not as crowded, and it has a sense of nostalgia around the area. Chicken is succulent and tender, and the chilli offers a punch with a hint of citrus

My favourite is the sihum or cockles. Fresh and clean. There are lots of other seafood as well, good for sharing with family and friends

When you get there, there is 2 shops side by side of each other. To be honest, both is fine, not much difference between each other. It's a matter of which has seats.
Just go up to the refrigerator and pick the sticks that you want. I love the cockles in the satay (peanut) gravy!

Another breakfast spot. Serving some of the traditional food that the locals eat such as soft boil eggs and kaya toast, coffee/ tea plus noodles and nasi lemak.
Indeed a 1 stop place to try out multiple different things!

My go to when I am back in Melaka. The flavourful broth, with a little vinegar added in, definitely hits the spot. Not too herbal but just right.
I always order the works. Which means there is some tendons in there, different organs and meat. Perfect combo
