Throughout my various trips to Japan, I've spent alot of time coming back to Asakusa and in the general Taito City. The area houses alot of beautiful, famous temples as well as old districts with curio shops and street food stalls.
Sometimes, depending on who I am with, I can explore alot what is highlighted in this guide in a day. But, if you want to spend more time then feel free to go through alot of the items highlighted here in multiple days or trips!

This will be our 3rd time to Japan, and will be traveling without kids!
We plan to splurge on this luxury 7-day itinerary that includes hotel stays with Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Tower views, Michelin Star dining, and spending most of our days eating out in Tokyo (no trips to Kyoto or Osaka here)!

Japan has a huge culture of soaking in hot springs called onsens - this grew to be one of my absolute favorite parts of Japanese culture! During my time living there, I found myself visiting my local onsen at least twice a week (not kidding!). I found it to be the perfect way to spend alone time, relax, and fully reset.
Japan is home to over 25,000 onsens and it is deeply engrained into Japanese culture. It's not uncommon in Japan for friends, families, or couples to take weekend trips to visit an onsen and its surrounding areas. Known for healing properties, a way to decompress and rejuvenate, and an escape from busy city life - it's a must-try when in Japan!

Tokyo is a playground for adults and one of the most wonderful places I have ever been, largely because of the kind people. This is a packed four-day guide of my favourite things to do in Tokyo. You can definitely spread this out over 5 days.
Let me know if you have any other questions! We also did a couple of day trips I will post about later.

With the risk of tooting my own horn, this 7 day plan for Tokyo is one of the best ones out there if you want to make the most out of a weeks trip. All the areas you want to visit but with enough rest to make you last a week in this chaotic and amazing city.
The guide also include the best tips and tricks for first time visitors to Japan. 🗾
