Results for Santo Domingo Coffee
Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, is known as the oldest capital in the Americas. Within its historic center, the Colonial Zone, you can find buildings from the 16th century, some of which are considered the first in the New World. These include the Santo Domingo Cathedral, the Museum of the Royal Houses, which was the first court, the ruins of the San Nicolas de Bari Hospital, the first monastery, the Monastery of San Francisco, and the first university in the Americas, among others.
Walking through the streets of the old town of Santo Domingo is like a journey back in time.

Welcome to my Old Walled City culinary guide to Cartagena, where I invite you to embark on a culinary journey through the flavors of Cartagena, Colombia. Read on for which restaurant offers sunset views on the historic walls of this UNESCO World Heritage site, a café where you can enjoy Colombia’s most award-winning coffee, and the establishment named the best bar in South America (and the 9th best in the world). My recommendations are divided into three distinct categories: Restaurants, Coffee, and Cocktails. A 2024 Travel + Leisure city to visit, Cartagena should be on your must-see list for South America. Retaining it's Spanish charm yet decidedly Caribbean in it's vibe, Cartagena is a short flight from the US and a great spot to getaway for a long weekend. Beautiful old town, lively beaches, and islands off the coast providing a little bit of paradise.

Although less famous than its Andalusian neighbours (Seville, Córdoba and Granada), Málaga is no slouch in terms of history and culture: its 3,000 years of history make it one of the oldest cities in Europe. A stroll through the historic centre is a journey through time through the Phoenician, Roman, Arab and Christian eras, with attractions such as the 1st-century Roman Theatre, the 11th-century Arab Alcazaba, the 16th-century Gibralfaro Castle (built on the ruins of a Phoenician lighthouse) and the Málaga Cathedral, one of the finest examples of the Andalusian Renaissance. Just to whet your appetite.

All you need to know before coming to Guatemala! Save yourself a week by skipping the research and enjoying this breathtaking country with the help of this guide.
March marks the end of the dry season, so the land looks tired and everyone is waiting for the rain to come. In my opinion, the best time for a visit is right after the rainy season has finished, and nature is at its most alive phase. But of course, it doesn't matter how green the grass is if you want to see a volcano eruption with your own eyes!
