3 days in the stunning Mexico City (CDMX)
Where to stay
I would recommend staying in the La Condesa or La Roma neighbourhoods, which are right next to each other. There are so many great cafes, bars and restaurants and the streets are picturesque and fun to wander through.

What to do
Day 1
After having a delicious coffee/breakfast, head to the centre of CDMX, where there is plenty of rich culture and history to take in and so much stunning greenery to enjoy in the form of Alameda Park.
Spend the afternoon travelling to the Xochimilco Canals. You are in for an incredibly fun afternoon where you will need to find a boat to take you on an adventure through the canals.
We recommend eating all the different types of food offered to you, buying the flower crowns and renting out one of the many mariachi bands to come aboard your boat and sing you a song.
We were pretty ready for a rest and delicious dinner and drinks after this day.
Day 2
This day entails a very early start that is definitely worth it. We booked a Hot Air Balloon Flight through Volare. This entailed pick up from our hotel, a stunning hot air balloon flight, breakfast (with a shot of tequila) and transportation to the pyramids.
Here is a link to the company we used - overall it was a great experience! We chose not to go with the paid tour and still had a great time (with plenty of time to spare) walking around the archaeological wonders.
Similar to Day 1, we were pretty tired after the 5 a.m. start and had a relaxing but fun evening with great company and even greater food.
Day 3
After another great start to the day with a perfectly made coffee and breakfast, we headed to Chapultepec Park and we shopped. For high end shopping, head to Polanco, specifically Avenida Presidente Masaryk. It's a picturesque suburb with lots on offer. Parque Delta is fun mall with something for everyone.
We ended the day with some tacos and mezcal (definitely worth a try).
Hopefully this has been helpful when planning your trip to Mexico City - let me know if you have any other questions!
