Over several years living here, I must have camped at over 100 different locations in Oman! A camping trip around Oman is an incredible adventure, but knowing where to pitch your tent can be daunting in such dramatic landscapes. Oman has no formal campsites, and all camping is "wild" or "backcountry". I’m sharing all of my favourite hidden gems, and the places we go back to weekend after weekend! As a Parisian, I wasn’t that much impressed. Of course you have to be careful, but it’s all about commun sense. - Do not film peoples or anything without autor in the favela. - Do not show off & act chill. - Do not drink to much, always keep your mind clear. - Always keep a bit of cash with you in case someone tries to robe you. - Please try to help the peoples around you & local economy. For exemple if you need a bottle of water or gums. it’s better to buy it from someone in the street than in a supermarket. If you give respect, you receve respect.
