Where to stay?
I normally look for two things when staying in a new city, close to transit (if available) and good eats! We decided to stay away from the crowds in Old Town and were seeking a more local feel. With the tram 2 minutes from our airbnb and a shore lind of fabulous local pubs and eats, we decided Leith was the neighborhood for us.
