I love everything at this place! I’ve been to several of their cafes around Bali, and the quality is just amazing. You get get a good cup of coffee and sourdough pretty cheap. My favorite is the beetroot something salad bowl (second picture) Absolutely insane!! 😭🤌🏼

How to spend your time
Ubud has a LOT to offers when it comes to activities and places to see! I spend a whole of 3 weeks here last year, and did not get bored once! So take your pick, depending on how long you are planning on staying here 🫶🏼

Monkey forest
@kathrineruby
A must do when in Ubud is of course the well known monkey forest! The park is super nice and you are guaranteed to see tons of monkeys. Be aware of your belongings and don’t wear anything loose or shiny. The monkeys can be tempted to steal it from you 😂 you can pay a guy to help you take pictures with the monkeys. No monkeys are forced to do anything they don’t want to, and none of them are tied 🫶🏼

Mount Batur
@kathrineruby
A must do when in Bali is of course Mt. Batur! The hike up is around 2 hours and really not that bad. Take the breaks you need, and do it in your own pace. Bring warm clothes, because when you reach the top and you wait for the sun to rise, it will be really cold! I would even recommend bringing some changing clothes, so you can get into something dry and warm. Enjoy!! It is so much worth it

Kubu Terrace Cooking Class
@kathrineruby
This place has a special place in my heart. If you are looking to do an authentic Balinese cooking class, this is what you need! Even though this is a bit away from Ubud, it is absolutely worth it. The guys will pick you up in the morning, and take you to the rice terraces that leads down to the cooking class place itself. You start off with a 45min to an hour of walking through the rice fields, which is STUNNING and just an experience in itself. Because you are there early morning, you will be the only ones there! Then you arrive at the cooking class where you will be given a tour of the garden and even harvesting the food you will be making. Seriously don’t miss out on this one 🫶🏼 the pictures is mine from when I was there

Cantik Agriculture Luwak Coffee
@kathrineruby
Coffee tasting is a must do in Bali! They have the famous Luwak coffee. And if you don’t know what that is, I will let it be a surprise. The view here is amazing! The garden around it is beautiful.
The only thing I don’t like is that they keep the Luwak in a small cage… but I unfortunately think that, that is the case most of the places..
