This is the point to take the train to the Schynigge Platte
In some cases, one needs to travel from Interlaken to Wilderswil to take the bus to Lauterbrunnen( mostly there sina direct route so one doesn’t need to bother about the change)

Schynige Platte
@wayfaring_nerd
Take the schynigge bahn from Wilderswil to Schynigge Platte
Post this, one can go on the hiking trail - namely Panaromaweg - that passes through Daube, Oberberghorn and all the way upto Loucherhorn. This trail upto Loucherhorn takes around 40 minutes.
One can also go further upto Faulhorn and it takes upto 3 hours.
Folks with more stamina can also go upto this beautiful lake called Bachalpsee and then to First and the total duration is around 4 hours 15 minutes.
You can go back on the same route or take the cable car from First to Grindelwald.
All these journeys are free on the Bernese Oberland pass

Bachalpsee
@wayfaring_nerd
This is a lake one can hike upto. Easier route for hiking would be from First.
One can take the cable car from Grindelwald to First and then take a 45 mins hike to the lake.
The lake is completely covered in snow during the winters

First
@wayfaring_nerd
A place for some fun activities like mountain flyer, free cliff walk, mountain cart etc. The cliff walk is sponsored by Tissot and is free while the other activities need tickets to be purchased. The wait time can be high during the later part of the day, so do try to go earlier in the morning.
One can also get off at an intermediate stop on the cable car from Grindelwald to First and hike upto First.
The cable car is free of cost in the Bernese Oberland pass
You can also have food at an expensive restaurant at Grindelwald First 😜. We had Indian food in Grindelwald before going to First

Männlichen
@wayfaring_nerd
Another peak and another hike. You can take the cable car from Grindelwald to Männlichen. Another route is via Wengen to Männlichen.
The difference between the two cable cars is the cable car from Wengen has a balcony for which you can pay an extra 5 CHF.
Otherwise both the cable cars are free of cost on Bernese Oberland pass

A place for spectacular views to the Grindelwald glacier and summer toboggan run, reaching speeds of up to 25 miles per hour (40 kilometers per hour), or rent an electric bike and zip down the mountainside. The Pfingstegg is also a strategic starting point for hikers, with trails leading down into the valley and up through the surrounding mountains.

Mönch
@wayfaring_nerd
One has to reach Jungfraujoch and then hike upto Mönch. It is a good introduction to alpine hiking and is slightly difficult in some parts but can be done using the right equipment. People also rest at the hotel near Mönch, watch the sunrise at Jungfraujoch the next day and then get back. You can watch the video in the link section for more information

Mönchsjochhütte
@wayfaring_nerd
One can stay here overnight when going to Mönch and then view the sunrise the next day and hike down to Jungfraujoch and go back.
