Ludlow is a picturesque historic market town in south Shropshire. Bordering on Wales, Ludlow has a long and interesting borderlands history. It boasts many finely restored period buildings from medieval, Tudor and Georgian times and has a large castle. Ludlow is a market town perfect for any foodie. The thriving market takes place each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is a great place to buy local food. Ludlow was the first town in the UK to ever plan a food festival, the first of which occurred in 1995. The festival was extremely successful and now takes place annually in September. Brighton is an easy trip from London. You can do it on a day trip or a weekend break. Its a great place to get a feel for a typical UK seaside town. It became popular especially in the Victorian times when doctors would send their patients to the seaside for its health benefits. Its believed that the sound/ of water can relax our nervous system and a whole other list of things. I have included our regular spots and things we like to do when we go and where we usually stay. I have also included a day trip we did to Virginia Woolf's house which would be great when you've got more than one day in the area. This is probably a combo of a map/detailed guide as I've put a lot of information on each place card. Some favourite spots to eat, drink and pick up snacks in Covent Garden. Covent Garden is in Central London (UK) close to Trafalgar Square, Soho and Piccadilly Circus. Its great for shopping, wandering, relaxing and is a great location for a pre/post theatre meal as its within walking distance for the theatre district.

Favourite places for Afternoon Tea in London, UK from a local whose lived here over 20 years. I've included a list of places we still want to go which is quite a few. Going to afternoon tea is quite a new thing for us that we only started doing the last 4-5 years. The average price for afternoon tea starts at £55 with more top of the range £75+ per person. Dress code varies but I would not show up in jeans or tennis shoes. You can do smart casual for many places but do check the websites when you book for dress code. There are some more formal places like the Ritz/Savoy that you could be turned away if you don't come dressed appropriately. Afternoon Tea is meant to be savoured and taken time over. Do not rush but do ask how long you have the table for as you may be asked to leave for the servers to prepare for the next sitting. You should start with the sandwiches and then move to any scones and then end with the pastries. You can often try multiple different teas in one setting. My partner and I often get through 2 pots of tea and try different ones each time. The more traditional afternoon tea the more likely you'll be getting sandwiches like egg and cress and scones with clotted cream. There are themed afternoon teas out there from Mad Hatter, Peter Pan, Indian and seasonal ones like for Easter and Christmas. 11 suggestions for afternoon tea. Budapest boasts a lot of beautiful scultpures throughout the city but did you know there are over 30 mini sculptures dispersed throughout as well? Made by Hungarian-Ukrainian artist Mihály Kolodko, they are a lot of fun to discover and to learn a small bit about Budapest history as well! What makes a sightseeing tour fun? Especially when kids are around? Conventional tour buses are okay, but I rather try to find alternative ways to explore a city. For this, I have an amazing idea. 🤩 Budapest has been conquered by mini sculptures made by Mihály Kolodko - a Ukrainian sculptor, who moved to Budapest in 2017. These mini sculptures are mostly made out of metal & after installation, he usually posts only a photo (maybe a hint) on socials, about the location of the new addition. IMAGINE a family approved sightseeing tour in Budapest, where the small child(ren) can play ’treasure hunt’ searching for these art installations, 🕵🏼 while the whole family gets a unique glimpse of Budapest’s city center. Personally, I love unique ideas & for me it would be a perfect alternative approach for a traditional sightseeing tour.

People can sometimes be a little apprehensive about traveling with kids but I think exploring places with my children is always fun. Especially when it is international travel. Don't worry, I've got you covered. My husband, my ten year old twins, and I took a trip to London over the summer. A week's vacation in London? It's a great idea! After all, why settle for a weekend in the British capital when you can spend 7 days? The only downside is that you'll have to find something to do. But in a city as busy as London, that shouldn't be a problem. Lacking inspiration? Well, I'll be nice and share my ultimate itinerary for a week in London. Breathtaking views over London, Burlesque or Mamma Mia evenings, incredible street food markets and other must-see tourist attractions, find out right away what's in store for your stay in the UK. Don't forget, this itinerary isn't set in stone (and thank goodness for that, because your feet could get sore)! Use it for inspiration, and remix it to your own liking!

Everything you need to know about booking your own trip to turkey with cost saving hacks Know about the Visa - If you have a UK/ US or Schengen visa, then you can get a e visa in less than 3 mins and the cost is approx 35-40$. But in case u don't have, the documentation is elaborate and it costs about 17k. I would suggest you apply for a UK or Schengen visa and then apply for Turkey visa, so u get 2 country visa for cost of 1 and you travel to Turkey and UK or any other Schengen country. Flights 🛫 from India The most economical flight option would be Air Arabia, followed closely by Indigo with direct flights from Delhi or Mumbai but considering the potential delays , I would avoid this. Etihad or Emirates would be the next best offering reliable alternatives. IST airport in Istanbul has plenty of flights and would be the optimal choice to land in Istanbul. Where to Stay ? We debated a lot, whether to stay in the old city or the Bosphorous side but eventually ended up at the old city side and regretted our decision. I would recommend to stay around the Galata tower as the surroundings are fantastic offering a blend of the typical modern city vibes with charming European aesthetics. With quaint cafes, English pubs with live music to small boutiques for shopping, the area excludes a vibe that we thoroughly enjoyed. In Cappadocia, i would recommend staying in Gerome as you would get close up views of the balloons, restaurants and nightlife. This is great for visitors without a car as everything would be at a walkable distance. Must visit around this vicinity is the Umbrella street and rainbow street. How to commute in Turkey ? We organized our airport transfers through this website. It was the most economical option, given our big group size of 8 with 2 big suitcases each. It costed about 35 euros/40$ for one way transfers(for 4 people) . Despite our flight getting delayed for over 3 hours, the transport service folks were still waiting for us. You can also use Uber app or Taksi app for local taxis. But please be mindful that you need to pay through the local currency (Turkish Lira) for this option. We were fortunate enough to find a remarkable cab driver there by name Engin (+90 5315661672)during our time in Istanbul. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible in Istanbul. He even arranged taxis for us in Cappadocia and helped us with all our transfers. We highly recommend his services to anyone visiting Istanbul.
