Best Burgers in London

Best Burgers in London

🍔 Burgers are one of my favorite foods, so wherever I go, I make a point of seeking out the best ones. From my personal experience thus far, the burger transcends cultures, with each country putting their own spin on this universally-loved dish. It made the most sense to begin with London, my adopted home, and a city brimming with burger tasting opportunity. Having tried many spots over the last 4 years, I bring to you, a (very) curated list of the best burgers in London. Options range from classic pub burgers to mouthwatering smashburgers and beyond - and all are unique to London/UK. If you're as enthusiastic about burgers as I am and you don't see your favorites on the list, please do share over on Instagram @somethingsavored and I'll add to my must-try list!

The Plimsoll
@somethingsavored
Don't ignore the other items on their menu! The burger pairs nicely with the potatoes & aioli and the cocktails are great. Be sure to make a booking to avoid disappointment.

Lagom
@somethingsavored
Elliot Cunningham is the chef behind LAGOM, inside Hackney Church Brew Co. Elliot's live-fire kitchen pays homage to his Swedish heritage and the burger is no exception. It's topped with a vinegar slaw that adds a unique dimension to the burger. My only wish is that the burger was slightly bigger, but it's still one of the best I've had in London.

Honest Burgers
@somethingsavored
Unlike a lot of other restaurants, you can choose how you'd like your burger cooked here (IYKYK)!! The rosemary chips are great, too - and also unlike other restaurants, come WITH the burger and are not an add-on. Don't let the fact that there are multiple locations across the city stop you from trying Honest Burgers.

Supernova
@somethingsavored
Supernova has received some criticism for long wait times but I did not personally experience this and loved the burger! The smashburger has extra crispy edges which I found very satisfying and flavorful.

Lucky Chip
@somethingsavored
Lucky Chip pops up in various places around the city. I haven't been to this particular location but recommend Sir Richard Steele Pub if you find yourself in North London.
