Paros is an amazing Cycladic island (right next to Mykonos) with beautiful beaches, views, food and people.
It’s a great island for families, couples, a group of friends or even solo travelers.
I’ve been to it twice; once in 2021 and again in 2023. I have to say it has changed in 2-years, it’s more expensive and DEFINITELY busier.
Paros is a hot spot for both Greek and foreign tourists so I highly recommend a visit, and to book restaurants and boats in advance especially if you're a big group.

Calling Naples a dynamic city doesn't even cover the amount of charm, culture, vibrancy that make up this town. Napoli is a FANTASTIC destination to explore, while visiting Italy, and is home to some of the BEST food. Check out this guide for all you need to know about Naples to have the perfect time. It's the perfect guide if you have 48 hours in Naples, to slowly make your way walking through the large city. Follow this guide, neighborhood by neighborhood.
I have spent lots of time in Naples, with my family, who are from the center of Napoli, so you know you're in good hands. :)

London is an incredible city with so much history to see within easy access of the Underground train system. After a slight learning curve (those gates close quick! If traveling with kids or baggagemake sure you use the wider family gate) the tube and bus system is extremely easy to navigate.
This guide includes 3 very full days of sightseeing followed by 3 days of Formula 1, but they could easily be spread out across a longer time period for a more relaxed trip.
This guide is especially for families that might be traveling to the British Grand Prix. London is a good jumping off point, although the daily commute from London is long, it is doable. If you will be doing the commute I recommend finding accommodations near Marylebone due to the nearly direct train to Bansbury where a shuttle takes you to the track.
And for anyone with food allergies, we found the restaurants to be exceedingly proficient about handling allergies. The ones we ate at are listed within.
This guide includes:
-3 hotel recommendations
-12 restaurant recommendations
-17 historical and local must see destinations

Sharing my personal list of 200 local spots in over 23 Kootenay communities! The Kootenay region is a haven for anyone seeking recreation and relaxation, who wants something a tad quieter than Banff and Canmore. Located just West of the Southern Canadian Rockies, the Kootenays have charming small towns, jaw-dropping landscapes, friendly people, a relaxed energy and more trails than one could possible explore in a lifetime.
As a local who lives here, and has travelled throughout the East and West Kootenays, there are so many incredible places/things/spots/shops in this region that deserve the same hype as their Alberta mountain town neighbours. The Kootenay's are just as cool (but quieter and more affordable)!
Included in my list of 200 favourite local Kootenay spots, you'll find..
- Local Coffee Shops
- Local Shops & Specialty Stores
- Local Accommodations
- Local Restaurants & Cafes
- Local activities, trails and must see's*
⭐️ = My #1 must see in the community!
Everywhere listed in the guide is a place I have personally been, or a place that I have on my list to visit as quickly as possible (but that I know other locals visit and love).
* All the trails, activities and recreation recommendations are beginner/family friendly, no multi-day or difficult hikes here. If you're really into a specific sport, this guide will really help shape the rest of your trip to the area outside of your hike/ride/skiing.
The Kootenays are a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, active families and nature lovers - an incredible destination to explore for all.

I spent close to 100 hours doing thorough research on a driving route that would cover the usual tourist must-sees in Hokkaido as well as the less-traveled Shiretoko peninsula. It was not easy finding information on Eastern Hokkaido online so I’m so excited to share with you the guide I wish I had. I’m confident this guide will save hours of your precious time and help you travel with confidence in Central and Eastern Hokkaido.

Here is my ultimate guide to hiking the legal trails of Oahu. Now I've done my best to order these hikes from easiest to hardest considering elevation change, conditions, and climate. I say legal hikes because there are a good amount of illegal hikes on Oahu that have become very popular recently due to social media, but I only wish to recommend those that are open and maintained so that everyone using this resource can have a safe and amazing adventures while visiting this beautiful island. Beyond safety there is also the risk of large fines which will given to anyone caught hiking outside of public trails.
In my own opinion there are no easy trails or walking trails on island as almost all trails are about elevation gain. Don't get me wrong Oahu is an excellent place for hikers, but probably best for those that consider themselves experienced hikers or are at least consider themselves athletic. I say this also because the hot climate and loose ground on much of these hikes makes for added challenge. My parents for example are now both over 60 and I would not take them on most of the hikes on Oahu and I likewise would have the same feeling about bringing children.
A few important considerations when hiking on Oahu is to be mindful of preserving the trail and the environment. One rule of thumb is to stay on the trail, and I know that seems obvious but even stepping off the maintained trail a little bit or cutting corners on switch backs bear consequences; such as erosion and harm to plants and organisms that you may unknowingly step on. Another no brainer, but I still think the reminder is important, is to leave no trace. This means not leaving anything behind such as trash but also to not alter the natural environment like stacking rocks or messing with the foliage, beyond what is necessary to continue on the path. The opposite is also just as important, don't take anything with you from the environment like plants and rocks.
I will try my best to include as much necessary information for these hikes as I can but it is always smart to be as well informed as possible before hiking somewhere new, so do your own research if you can and be well prepared for the weather, distance, and difficulty of each hike. State rescue personal often respond to hikers in distress here on Oahu and I would hate for anyone using my guide to face any sort of distress when they are supposed to be making fun memories.
*I will be adding to this list as I do more hikes around the island*
