Know Before You Go

📍Visa & Entry Information:  Your passport won’t be stamped when you arrive at Ben Gurion Airport. For several years now, Israel has not been stamping passports. They will now stamp a slip of paper that you must carry until you depart from Israel. This is because a few countries will not permit entry if you have an Israeli visit visa stamped in your passport. There are E-Visa's on arrival for EU Citizens, by placing your passport on the E-Visa Portal and it will print your Visa. If it does not accept your passport, You will need to stand in the long lines (if during arrival rush hours) to have passport control approve your visa.  Always check your own countries Visa requirements for Israel before travelling.

📍Safety in Israel: Traveling around Israel is generally safe. Most incidences of terrorism in the country occur in the West Bank and Gaza. There is large security presence in the major cities to keep tourists and local safe.

But you should always be alert whenever you travel. Also keep up to date on any political unrest or Government warnings before your travels.
