Amsterdam 4-days 1st time!
My first time to Amsterdam at 38! It’s been on my list for years. I’ve compiled a few places for people visiting for the first time and for a short stay. The suggestions are by locals, frequent travelers and contributors.

PARIS - 4-days in May
I did a quick 4 day trip to Paris in May with friends who've never been. These are all the spots I took them too and what I would recommend for first time visitors (or if you haven't been in a while). It's a mix of must see/do with a bit of some local recommendations. *We had terrible weather but 90% of my recommendations work for any Parisian weather.

PAROS
Paros is an amazing Cycladic island (right next to Mykonos) with beautiful beaches, views, food and people. It’s a great island for families, couples, a group of friends or even solo travelers. I’ve been to it twice; once in 2021 and again in 2023. I have to say it has changed in 2-years, it’s more expensive and DEFINITELY busier. Paros is a hot spot for both Greek and foreign tourists so I highly recommend a visit, and to book restaurants and boats in advance especially if you're a big group.

JEDDAH - during Ramadan
This board is dedicated to my place of birth, which I have only visited twice since we left in the 80’s. I visit it now in 2023 during Ramadan and with my husband who was born and raised there. Our trip is short (2.5 days) but will hopefully be very eventful. Note: keep in mind that due to the fasting hours, lots of shops and activities may close at different hours than usual. Everything is open after iftar (breaking of the fast) till late. Check before you go anywhere! You can’t eat in public during Ramadan.
