Travelling across the countryside of Kanagawa and Shizuoka, one of the most jaw dropping sights that you simply won't miss is Mount Fuji. As Japan's highest mountain, it has long been revered as the nation's pride and a spiritual embodiment of "home" for many.
This guide offers a brief introduction to my journey south of Mount Fuji, spanning the two prefectures over a concise 4-day car trip, highlighting how I came to appreciate the natural beauty, grandeur, and unparalleled cultural value of Mount Fuji.
Here are 10 less crowded spots to enjoy Mount Fuji, carefully curated into 4 chapters - Fuji by the Sea, Fuji from the Mountains, Understanding Fuji, and Fuji from the City.
It is worth noting that Mount Fuji can be observed from twenty out of Japan's forty-seven prefectures, however visibility is extremely weather dependent, so you will also need luck on your side! This is just the tip of the iceberg, and I can't wait to be back already.

Paris is not known for being a very green capital. In summer, when temperatures soar, the heat becomes very complicated to bear, due in part to the lack of trees and parks in the city. 🥵
However, despite the lack of green spaces, Parisian parks and gardens are popular spots for residents of the French capital. 🌿 Let me help you make the right choice for your needs !!

I'm Maeve and I'm 50% Irish (hence the Gaelic name haha). I have visited Ireland at least once a year of my 26 years and to no surprise, it's my absolute favorite place on earth!
My family is primarily from the Shannon and South-East regions of Ireland. My mom and her three brothers were raised in Limerick, my granny was born and raised in Limerick City, and my grandad was born and raised in Cahir, Co. Tipperary. Like many Irish families, we have relatives spread out across the country too.
I know Ireland pretty well for never having actually lived in the country long-term. I grew up spending 8-weeks of my summer in Spanish Point Co. Clare with a bunch of my cousins---just as my mom and granny did when they were younger. When the weather was great we played in the grass, swam in the sea, milked cows, rode horses, and just lived outside all day long. But there were weeks when it felt like the rain never stopped and I can guarantee that 6+ stir-crazy kids were a nightmare to take care. As a result, our parents would take turns going away on overnights or mini staycations within Ireland.
Ireland is majority lush, green, rolling hills and winding country lanes. There is so much to see and do. However, just because you'll likely spend your days in your wellies trekking through the countryside, there is NO need to forfeit the finer things in life when it comes to your accommodation. Here's a guide to 10 luxurious hotels across Ireland perfect for a couple's getaway. The majority of places my family or I have visited ourselves and the others are on my travel wishlist.
As always, I'm happy to help you plan a custom itinerary for your trip to Ireland! Just reach out to me directly (:

Let's get one thing straight: Cheese is love, and while the French reign supreme in this kingdom! The Italians can hold their own pretty bloody well. Living in Italy, particularly in Bra- the proud home of Italy's ultimate cheese festival" Bra Cheese" - I have drowned myself in this cheesy paradise. This festival was founded by the slow food movement (which has its HQ right in Bra) it is a must for any cheese aficionado.
The following festivals, Pro-locos and Sarga' are generally put on by local communities and often coincide with the celebration of patron saints and similar holidays. There are plenty more than just these, but from my experience, these are worth your visit.
Now let's talk about the cream of the crop in the Italian cheese world. You cannot forget "the king" Reggiano Parmesan, a staple that deserves a permanent spot in your fridge. On the other end of the spectrum and country, there's Buffalo Mozzarella, a soft and slightly tart delight that screams summer. We cannot overlook Gorgonzola, with its range of mild and cream to bold and spicy. Crowd-pleasing favourite Ricotta and arguably the most versatile Italian cheese. A personal favourite, Taleggio, this northern Italian cheese especially when a little over ripe, is an unforgettable as a passionate date. Pecorino (the proper stuff - sheep's milk) deserves a mention - when it's good it's bloody fantastic!
Get out of the main Italian cities and experience these wonderful countryside areas and the produce and producers that make them, the next time you are in Italy.
"Blessed are the cheesemakers" indeed!

Not everyone can afford the Ritz Carlton, and not everyone wants to. We can safely say that our most memorable trips to Turks and Caicos were spent at cost-conscious hotels. They are easily a third of the cost of a larger resort. And there are quite a few budget friendly accommodation options. Check out some of our favorites!

One thing the danish are most certainly famous for are their pastries. 🥐🥮
The big question remains: "Where should I try them?”
So that you don't end up in a branche, I and my friend came up with a list of the most authentic and deliciuos bakeries and cafes in Copenhagen ☕️.
Wherever you dicide to go, make sure to try "Spandauer" and "Tebirkes". Also, "Jordbärtarte", translated strawberry tart 🍓, is a must-try.

I've compiled free activities to do in Barcelona for every day of the week. There are plenty of events during the weekend as Barcelona is a lively city so I would also check for any activities taking place the weekend you decide to go. Keep in mind that most museums are free for entry on the first Sunday of each month and this applies to most museums across Europe.
