Paris and its gardens

Alexandre Salvat
Paris is not known for being a very green capital. In summer, when temperatures soar, the heat becomes very complicated to bear, due in part to the lack of trees and parks in the city. πŸ₯΅ However, despite the lack of green spaces, Parisian parks and gardens are popular spots for residents of the French capital. 🌿 Let me help you make the right choice for your needs !!

10 parks & gardens for your curiosity:

Paris, the city of light, is known for its many activities: museums, restaurants, the Eiffel Tower, etc. But today, we're going to take an alternative tour. I'm going to take you to a Paris that coexists hand in hand with nature, a Paris that's a little less well-known but just as exciting to explore. 🌳

Le Jardin des Tuileries

With a history spanning more than 4 centuries, this garden is simply magical. Ideally placed m, it will bridge the gap between your visits to the Champs ElysΓ©es and the Louvre Museum. It also offers Parisians a place to meet in the center of Paris. If you're lucky, you might even spot some goats mowing the lawn.

Le Champ de Mars

Who hasn't dreamed of having a drink in front of the Eiffel Tower? Well, it's your lucky day, so grab your bottle of wine, or even better, champagne, and wait for the Eiffel Tower to sparkle. It's the closest you'll ever get to the Iron Lady. The green spaces here aren't particularly beautiful, but the view is worth the effort.

Simply a must do in the French Capital ! This park is quite simply a representation of the city of Paris, and every detail of it brings you back it. You'll have several interesting spots to chill out: on the grass, between the tree lanes on a bench or grab a chair and settle in around the fountain. Now all you have to do is choose !!

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ As soon as the weather's fine, many people flock here in spring. A word of advice: go in August when all the Parisians are away on vacation.

Square du Palais Galliera

A small, very Parisian park. Within it, you can admire the beautiful building of the Palais de la Mode (also a beautiful museum). It's a small park, and quite unknown to Parisians, which means it doesn't get that crowded.

Le Parc Monceau

Tucked away in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, this emblematic park it's not the best-known park in the capital, as it's located in a wealthy district with few tourist attractions in the vicinity. Parc Monceau is best known for its impressive colonnade, which takes up one side of the small lake within the park.

La citΓ© universitaire

I fell in love with this place, which I find absolutely magical. La CitΓ© Universitaire is a place that brings together in a park houses from several countries around the world. Inside these houses are foreign students who have come to Paris to study for their degrees. It's an incredible mix of cultures, with buildings that are all unique from one another, a large lawn to relax on and open days to discover the cultures of the different countries.

One of the two Bois de Paris, famous for its festivals, its racecourse, its Louis Vuitton Foundation and its Jardin d'Acclimatation, the Bois de Boulogne is definitely a place to be. Just be careful not to venture too far off the beaten tourist track, as you risk meeting people you don't really want to see.

I think it's the most beautiful wood in Paris, and I love hanging out here with friends and going for bike rides. One of the only direct accesses to the forest from Paris. It's also known as a great place to party on summer evenings. In a few words, come and you won't be disappointed.
