Just Coffee
These are my list of faves for grabbing just a cup of coffee & pastries as there’s no kitchen here, so what you see is what you get.
Motors Coffee
@rebsonthemove
Perfect quick stop for coffee and pastries when you’re shopping in the Châtelet area. They have low chairs that’s great for chatting & just sitting a while, a terrasse during the summer, and a young, fun vibe overall.

Clove
@rebsonthemove
Located at the Montmartre area and about 5-10 minute walk from Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, this coffee shop is all about coffee & design.

Sevenly Heart
@rebsonthemove
This one serves up coffee by day, and wine by night. Loving the minimalist style, high ceiling, plus the few vintage decors. Take advantage of the photo op on the table by the window.

Hexagone Café
@rebsonthemove
A neighborhood café that’s been in the heart of the 14th arrondissement for years. I enjoy coming over in the morning where locals would meet up for a cup of coffee and chat a bit before heading off to work.

Brunching Out
If you haven’t heard, local Parisians themselves love eating out. Therefore it is quite common that people would line up at cafés on weekends (I once was in line for about an hour for Sunday brunch!). Pro tip: Go as soon as the cafés open to avoid the queue, most cafés start serving at 9-10am.
Back in Black
@rebsonthemove
This was the first coffee shop I went to when I arrived in 2021 and I absolutely love the breakfast + coffee that we had (see photo). Loved the fact that it’s quite spacious too since that’s not really common here in Paris.

Vague Coffee - Batignolles Paris 17
@rebsonthemove
Great place for coffee, matcha, and toasts lovers! They have this “sauce vague” that’s a bit spicy, yet lovely on the toasts as a whole.

Brunching at 2pm
Yes… you heard that time right. I asked a friend out for brunch once and she was like “Sure, let’s do 2pm” and I was like “That’s not brunch anymore.” The reason? “Parisians have brunch until 4pm”
Rivié
@rebsonthemove
It’s in a hotel that also has a huge space for its restaurants. Great for all kinds of brunches actually (dates, girl brunch, fam brunch, etc.) and it has such an international vibe too. PS. You don’t need to be a guest in the hotel to grab a bite here.

Inform Café
@rebsonthemove
Quite new in the city. They have 2 spots - one of which is only a small café but the other one (that’s linked here) is bigger and it’s possible to get a reservation.

La Main Noire
@rebsonthemove
Another neighborhood fave, specializing in their lattes but also their brunch sets.

If you’re going on a weekday, most probably you’d be safe from the queue. Be sure to check out the coffee shop’s Google listing or Instagram page for their opening hours. It does change depending on the day.
Belle journée & have a great time in Paris!
