The Island of Hawai’i, or Big Island, is home to some of my favorite Hawaiian food like poke, shave ice and huli huli chicken. Combine that with stunning luxury resorts along the Kohala Coast and the gorgeous Hāpuna Beach (recently rated the best beach in the U.S.!) and you'll see why the Big Island is my favorite Hawaiian island. It’s a great vacation destination for couples or families looking to indulge, eat well and enjoy the unique natural beauty of the islands!
As your luxury travel advisor, I can secure exclusive perks with your hotel stays, making your Big Island even more unforgettable.

It's filled with sleeping volcanoes, receding glaciers, thundering waterfalls, lupine-covered valleys, small fishing villages, black churches, and isolated lighthouses. There's a lot to see within relatively short driving distances. It's a good place to start your real Icelandic adventure.

Lassen Volcanic National Park is one of California's more underrated national parks. Lassen is home to spectacular hydrothermal features, stunning mountain lakes, wildflower filled meadows, and of course volcanos. Located in northeastern California at the crossroads of the Cascade and Sierra Nevada Mountain Ranges, Lassen is subject to high snowfall in the winter, making late spring through early fall the best time of year to visit.
This map highlights the best stops along Lassen Volcanic National Park Highway, the main road through the park, from South to North. The entire route is about 30 miles, and without stopping the entire route takes about an hour to complete.
Also included are a few stops at the Butte Lake entrance, however to get here you must drive along 6 miles of unpaved road.
This map also details some of the best and more popular hikes in Lassen.

Iceland is one of my favorite places in the world and I'm excited to share this itinerary, which covers everything you need to have the most perfect week traveling the Ring Road. Plus I've included details about an off-the-beaten-path destination located in the center of the island, which was the highlight of my trip.
I explored Iceland by van and I believe it is the absolute best way to maximize your time on the island. Van travel saves you money since your accommodations, transportation (and meals if you decide to cook in your van) are all in one!
To travel the Ring Road in just a week, you'll need to be prepared to drive a lot (a few hours each day), but you'll see a lot as well!
If you're looking to hike, experience great Icelandic restaurants, be adventurous, and see the best parts of Iceland in 7-days, then this itinerary is for you.
Destinations covered:
📍Partial Golden Circle
📍Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park
📍Skógar
📍Vík
📍Skaftafell
📍Höfn
📍Seydisfjordur
📍Lake Mývatn
📍Akureyri
📍Reykjavík
📍BONUS: Off-the-beaten-path destination (my favorite part of Iceland)
Recommendations included in the itinerary:
✔️Hikes
✔️Restaurants
✔️Two tours
✔️Van rental information
✔️Campsite information
✔️Easy van meal ideas
✔️Local tips and general Iceland information
✔️Packing list to make van life seamless
*This itinerary was created for someone looking to travel to Iceland between May-September.

Guatemala has an outstanding landscape to be discovered, characterized by its volcanoes, some of them active ones. It's actually in Guatelama where you'll find the most active volcano of Central America, the Volcán de Fuego.
In this 2-week itinerary you can expect to find nature, adventure, hikes and my best tips after having travelled to this amazing country, so you can avoid mistakes, and enjoy to the fullest of your time in Guatemala.
This itinerary is designed in a way to see the most attractive icons of the country in 2 weeks in a balanced way, where you'll need energy for the adventurous and physical part of the trip but you'll get to relax in idyllic places, too.
Don't miss some of my tips written after (EVA'S TIP❗). Same system I use in all my other guides.

Active volcanoes. Dancing northern lights. Gushing geysers. Massive glaciers. Thermal hot springs. Thundering waterfalls. Iceland is the ultimate adventure destination. How have you not been here yet? It’s finally time. Start in the northernmost capital in the world. Reykjavik is a hip, modern city. Then start exploring the wild coastline, the sheep-filled countryside, the icy interior, and the peaceful islands. There are plenty of black-sand beaches, small fishing villages, turf-roofed houses, and epic hikes along the way. Just remember to pack layers. Sometimes, the Gulf Stream provides moderate temperatures. Other times, it’ll feel like you’re in the Arctic. Also don’t forget the long, dark winters and the 24-hour daylight during the short summers. If you take advantage of Icelandair’s free stopover program—a great excuse to visit Helsinki, Copenhagen, and even Paris—you can keep returning to discover which season you like best.

Stay: hotels
Eat: bakeries, cafés, coffee shops, food carts & trucks, food halls, ice cream, Michelin stars, pizzerias, restaurants, soup
Drink: beer bars, breweries, cocktail bars, wine bars

If you enjoy hiking along a rugged coastline or in the shadow of a volcano formed thousands of year ago, Oregon is the place for you. If you enjoy finding majestic hot springs along the side of the road or crystal clear lakes buried deep within national forests, Oregon is worth a visit. Or if you are interested in checking Crater Lake National Park off your list, you must come to Oregon! As a born and raised southerner visiting Oregon three years ago for the first time, I was absolutely enthralled by the diverse landscapes from the Columbia River Gorge to the sand dunes along the coast. I was so charmed by Oregon a few years ago that I went home, packed my bags and moved cross country by myself so that I didn't have to stop exploring all that it has to offer.
Here is my guide of the best things to see on your next Oregon adventure!

Over the past few years, Iceland has been getting more and more popular by tourists. Nicknamed the Land of Fire and Ice because of its many volcanoes and glaciers, there are endless opportunities of gorgeous natural wonders to explore. Over 60% of the people that live in Iceland, live in the capital city of Reykjavik.
If you are not renting a car to avoid the intimidation of the slippery roads during winter, all of the activities below can be done right in Reykjavik or by a tour with transfer. I’ve gone ahead and provided all the links you need for each tour that I have personally done myself just this year (2022). Have a wonderful time exploring Iceland. 🇮🇸

Spending my university life in Argentina gave me the chance to travel for years around the Country where all nature unites.
Glaciers, jungles, deserts, whales, 7000m volcanoes. All united within a single Country.
This map might be the biggest I have ever made so far (also considering how big is this country).
It will give you intel on all its national parks, most beautiful cultural events, fantastic food of Buenos Aires and logistics hubs for transport.

All you need to know before coming to Guatemala! Save yourself a week by skipping the research and enjoying this breathtaking country with the help of this guide.
March marks the end of the dry season, so the land looks tired and everyone is waiting for the rain to come. In my opinion, the best time for a visit is right after the rainy season has finished, and nature is at its most alive phase. But of course, it doesn't matter how green the grass is if you want to see a volcano eruption with your own eyes!
