Whether you're coming for breakfast, lunch or a light snack, this is a good place to know. They have great croissants and vennoiserie. Fresh salads and sandwiches. Individual quiches and croque monsieurs. Or, a nice baguette for a picnic. For dessert, we like their vanilla caramel chou pastry.

This is a great spot any time of day. They have nice quality breakfast pastries, and excellent lunch options. I particularly like their cheesy breads and foccacias. It's a good idea to try their llittle orange cakes too.

Established in 1730, this is considered to be the oldest bakery in Paris. You must try the Chiboust cream tart which is absolutely amazing.

Excellent bakery for a sit down breakfast or lunch, right on the bustling Blvd St Germain. Try their chocolate praline croissant ( or one of their other flavored croissants). Or for lunch, try a bagel or baguette sandwich, or a soup & quiche.

Great spot for breakfast or lunch with a view of Rue Rivoli by the Louvre. This is an all around bakery with great pastries. Their kouign-amann is amaxing. So is the goat cheese croque monsieur. But order anything. You can't go wrong here.

This is a great place to grab a bite and do some people watching. Thier raspberry macaron, tarte citron and the palmier are our favorites, but the pizza and sandwiches look great too.

Great place for coffee and morning pastries. Colleen likes their baguettes with butter and jam (confiture). If you're visiting later in the day, try their mille feuille pastry.

Great spot for coffee and a fabulous breakfast pastry. Their croissants and pain au chocolat are really good. If you're ready for something sweeter, try their pistachio eclair or the pasteis de nata (sweet custard tarts).

One of our top favorites. The cheese roll is particularly delicious. So are the sweet and savory "batons" or bread sticks. Their chicken sandwiches are mighty satisfying. And we love their eco-friendly, zero waste commitment.

Amazing bakery in the Latin quarter, just a block away from the famous rue Mouffetard. We tried a salad, sandwich, and a Paris Brest and it was truly delicious. Great place to grab lunch on-the-go.

Charming old world bakery. They are known for their sweet and savory gugelhapf (mini bundt cake breads). The almond one is worth the trip. if you're not in to breads, go fo the lemon basil tarte. It's memorable.

This is our favorite bakery in Paris. They were rated #1 croissant in Paris for 2022. We're often in this boulangerie since Gare du Nord is across the street and that's our way home. Colleen often has a Palmier as a treat and their Paris Brest is scrumptious.

This is one ofour favorite bakeries in Paris. We particularly love their Kouign-amann bakery treat. It's OMG delicious! Buy one and then walk to the Seine river banks for a little sweet treat break.

This is a tiny bakery and sandwich shop near Notre Dame & Hôtel de Ville. It's usually not too crowded and they have a nice selections of treats.

This is a great boulangerie in Montmartre, right up the hill from the Moulin Rouge. We tried a Tigré au Nutella and it was amazing. They have a great selection of sandwiches & treats.

This place used to be called "Laurent B" and they have a really cool black charcoal baguette that makes amazing sandwiches. Colleen tried the Brie & Truffle Black baguette sandwich and loved it. This bakery is a few steps away from the Eiffel tower lawn.

Right behind the Arc de Triomphe, this small neighborhood bakery has amazing bakeries. We tried the Flan and a Pain au chocolat and it didn't disappoint.

Right up the steps from Metro station "Arts et Métiers", this bakery has amazing sweet treats. We tried the Pain Suisse and we truly enjoyed it.

This is the quintessential Parisian neighborhood bakery. The Chausson au Pommes that Colleen tried was amazing.

Great boulangerie on rue de Buci. Colleen tried their "Tuile Nature" which is a very simple cookie with sliced almonds in the shape of a roof tile. They have great bakeries and patisseries if you're in the neighborhood.

Amazing food court and stunning patisserie inside Le Bon Marché department store. It's a bit pricey but the food is excellent. Whether you're looking for a nibble for lunch or some of the best pastries you'll ever try, this is the place. There's a small park across the street to have a small picnic.

This is a Parisian institution for amazing pastries or lunch. We tried their Mont Blanc (Chestnuts) and their Delices aux Framboises which were amazing. The setting is also delightful.

Inside this beatuful building you'll find the runenr up for the best croissant in Paris 2023. They also have amazing flavored croissants (try the raspberry!). Their kouig-amann are stellar. And it's a great place to get a formule lunch on the go.

This is a great spot for a cup of coffee and an award winning croissant. Also try their aux amande (almond croissant). If you come here at lunch time, they have amazing baguette sandwiches. We like their tomato mozzerella and pesto or the chicken avocado. Finish that off with the tarte tatin (think apple pie).

This place is a treasure. It is owned an operated by brothers coming from a many generations of bakers. They offer a variety of flavored breads with lots of nuts and grains and different flours. They also offer a wonderful affordable brunch with top quality ingredients.

This little gem is just around the corner from the Abesses Metro station and the I Love You Wall. It's a small bakery with big flavor. We stop in often to pick up sandwiches or baguettes (including half loafs) for a charcuterie picnic. Definitely a place to know about.
