There are 3 Carette Cafes around Paris but this particular one was located in the cutest square in the really trendy neighbourhood called le Marais! 

Carette Cafe is known for its french breakfasts and pastries. Every table is photo-worthy when your food is delivered! 

It was a bit pricier than I was expecting but it was still delicious and I HIGHLY recommend the hot chocolate (another one of their specialities) 🍫   

Ambiance: Quaint patisserie perfect for brunch or breakfast

My recommendation: Sit back and enjoy a rich hot chocolate (chocolat chaud) with a croissant after strolling through the place de Vosages 

Probably my favorite place for macarons in Paris. Something about the ones here taste almost.. homemade? But in the best way, without compromising technique. Maybe they're just really really fresh. 

This is a Parisian institution for amazing pastries or lunch. We tried their Mont Blanc (Chestnuts) and their Delices aux Framboises which were amazing. The setting is also delightful.

This is an elegant cafe on Place des Vosges (aka, a beautiful location). It's a great lunch option as long as you follow up your meal with the ICONIC hot chocolate. 

Patisserie, cafe. One of the oldest in Paris - first opened in 1927.
