"Most Parisians would agree that the 11th arrondissement is probably the best place to go for food, and in that area, Utopie may be your best choice for getting baked goods. From activated charcoal baguettes to black sesame-based desserts (eclairs and tarts), they have some pretty flashy offerings. But above all, they make the classics exceptionally well, like their croissants and chaussons aux pommes, but also their baguette tradition, which won the award for the best in Paris in 2024."

"Always with a line out the door, you’ll understand why as soon as you step in. A truly unique assortment of goodies, including sesame eclairs and roules (“buns” is probably the closest translation), pain au chocolate with almonds and pistachio (delicious!), seasonally garnished brioche, and more. And, of course, melt-in-your-mouth croissants. Don’t forget to sample the bread by the cash register!"

"This bakery was founded by former Laduree bakers. They are known for their amazing, award winning croissants. They only make about 200 croissants per day. You better get there early if you want some. When they're gone, they're gone! "
