Aloha! As a frequent traveler to the island of Maui I wanted to share some of my favorite places on the island. Every time I go I discover a new gem. Included in the map are restaurants, great places to take a tour with your group, some shopping and even a UPS store near the airport so you can ship a box home of your island goodies (Kona coffee!)

Hungry and love to shop? My mom and I love shopping and eating our way around Toronto. Below are some of our favorite places. Yes, we can spend the whole day in the Yorkdale mall. Great place to get some steps in!

If you are a Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond) follower like I am and are traveling through Oklahoma you will want to stay here for a day or two if you can. There are special memories in this little town for me- I was there opening day of The Mercantile! This town is quintessential small town American charm. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Eat as much here as you can and save room in your cooler for baked goods on the road.

Interested in a sweet and salty road trip through beautiful Pennsylvania? This trip is for you. Designed to be flexible. Start in Pittsburg and enjoy the drive to Lancaster, PA where you will enjoy the country's oldest pretzel factory and one of the oldest chocolatiers. There are plenty of wineries and antiques along the way not to mention the mountain photo ops. Then drive to Hershey and enjoy Hershey's Chocolate world for more sweets. A couple of hotels and food are included here but there is room to travel at your leisure and stay in other cities also. What I have included is 3-4 days of activities.

7 days driving around the picturesque state of Arizona? Yes please! This itinerary will take you to three National Parks (Saguaro, Petrified and Grand Canyon) as well as Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe bend. The accommodations for this trip are as luxury for each area as we found and include at least one top food spot in each location also. The trip is aimed at a balance of outdoors and luxury. We wanted to be pampered after so much hiking and outdoor activities! Because we road tripped we chose to bring our cooler. We stopped at some local grocery stores and picked up snacks for the road and light meal options. We didn't eat out 3 meals each day and sometimes we just wanted to be spontaneous and ask our tour guide where to eat next. The trip is roughly 7 days but you can stay longer or shorter in each place if you choose.

Even had time for some alligator tours and art gallery hopping with our hurricanes. Car required- we drove along the coast of Alabama and Mississippi before arriving back in New Orleans.

Heading on a cruise from Auckland? Make sure to pick up this guide. New Zealand is a protected place and a lot of bio-security rules apply. You will find your self going through security before and after each ship embarkment/dis-embarkment along with needing extra time at airport security both ways.

Welcome to Tauranga, a coastal city in the Bay of Plenty region. This port is New Zealand’s largest port in terms of gross export tonnage and the region is the fastest growing one. This city has something for everyone, from beautiful beaches, dolphin watching, thermal reserves, galleries, shopping, and of course great cuisine. I spent the day at a sheep farm, shopping and enjoying some short hikes around the thermal reserve along with a traditional Maori cultural show. I even had time to enjoy the beach before I boarded the ship again. You could spend the entirety of the day just on the coast, surfing, kayaking, rafting, and refueling with the many food trucks that park just outside of it.

Welcome to Wellington! This charming capital city is nestled between green hills and a harbor. Wellington is the center of New Zealand’s film and special effects industry. There is something in this city for everyone including Marvel exhibitions, birding, shopping, museums, a historic cable car, coffee culture, Cuba Street, and more. Home to the world's first fully fenced predator-free urban sanctuary, Zealandia. Native bird populations flourish here and you will see several endangered species. This guide is for the hikers/nature lovers with some extra links for city-goers. Be prepared for a full day of walking here. The hills and neighborhoods and surrounding native land are not made for heels!

Christchurch, known for its English heritage, is the largest city on the South Island of New Zealand. There is plenty to do in the city but I chose to get out in wine country and visited several wineries in the Waipara wine region. It's a good hour north of the city with stunning country views along the way. Many wineries serve food with their wines and many have snacks for purchase if you chose to picnic. Included in the guide are links to the wineries I visited along with some helpful links for the area if you have time to visit more.

Known for its Scottish and Maori heritage Dunedin is the 2nd largest city on the South Island of New Zealand. The dramatic landscape includes the adjoining Otago Peninsula, home to colonies of albatross, sea lions and rare yellow-eyed penguins. There is plenty to do here for a day including wildlife watching, castle touring, shopping, plenty to eat, hiking, cycling trails and museums.

Have a day or more to spend in Portland? Check out the places below. When I visited I only had a day and I packed it full to see the most. I had time to hike, shop, eat, drink and get lost in a great bookstore.

G'Day and Originally I scheduled the hop-on-hop-off bus tour to take me around the city but they were disorganized and the schedule was unreliable so I chose to Uber to a few places on my list. It was more economical and I enjoyed walking around a few districts in Sydney. I had a full day of shopping/eating/animal watching and sightseeing. Plenty of varied activities in this guide. Tips if you are arriving via cruise.

Kia Ora! Welcome to the Bay of Islands, the birthplace of modern New Zealand. The Bay of Islands is rich in mystery and legend. Explorers such as the Polynesian adventurer Kupe and Captain Cook have anchored there. The culture is deeply rooted in Maori traditions. British rule was established with the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. This guide is a blend of an easy nature hike, a glow worm cave off the beaten path, 2 restaurants and the local food market/shop.
