Below is a list of some of the wineries I have tasted at in Napa & Sonoma. Each one has a picture, the website, and a little blurb. Pick and choose what is best for you or let me know if you want more help planning. Typically people taste at 2-3 wineries a day and find that to be the perfect amount. Tastings at most wineries are $30-60 with 4-6 tastings. Most wineries also let you buy a glass or a bottle to share and have a cheeseboard to snack on, but not appetizers or plated meals.

We went to New York for a day and a half before a wedding. We traveled with my wife's parents and her brother and his girlfriend on this itinerary. Here is our weekend itinerary for Mendocino/Fort Bragg. The itinerary and information is based on our December 2019 and June 2023 trips.

This is the itinerary my wife and I used for 3 days in Seattle. She has family in the area and has been many times but it was my first time and loved it.

A full 3 day trip my wife and I did with two other couples, 6 people total. We walk most everywhere, about 10 miles a day. We traveled there in March 2020 (crazy story as the world shut down because of COVID while we were on our flight there) and April 2024. We did this trip with our Porto, Portugal trip (see bottom of page).

Here are some of the things we have done in Chicago & enjoy as first time and second time and third time tourists! We have been in November when it is cold and July when it is hot and humid (it rained one afternoon for an hour or two).
