Chicago, IL
Cloud Gate/ The Bean- the bean is in Cloud Gate park in the center of down town, a Chicago must! This is a relatively small park surrounded by hotels, businesses, and yummy food!
River Tour- Chicago is also famous for it's architecture and specifically architecture river cruise. The cruises typically last 1-2 hours and are a great way to get a different view of the city and learn more about the city.
Lincoln park- North of downtown, a great park to walk through that has vies of the city, a beautiful arboretum (about an hour) and free zoo. The zoo is very well done and will take about half of a day to do. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and great to walk in as well with beautiful homes.
Garfield Park Conservatory- If you like arboretums but are on the south side of down town check out Garfield Park Conservatory.
Field Museum- also on the south side of downtown is the field museum. This is where you will find the world famous T-rex Sue!
Chicago Cubs- enjoy a baseball game at historical Wrigley field. Careful when buying seats- the ones way out in the outfield aren't in the stadium.
Grand Central Station- we have been here twice because we took an Amtrak train from California to Chicago twice. Let us know if you're interested in hearing more! Grand central is a beautiful station, especially during the holidays as they put up a huge and beautifully decorated tree.
After Chicago we took a 2 hour flight to Nashville for a few days- check it out!
