Welcome to Rome! I know this city can be overwhelming, so I'm here to help! I've divided this guide in various sections (neighbourhood names). These are my favorite places to eat and drink in the Eternal City
Please remember it is always best to make reservations while in Rome. If you show up to a restaurant and they are fully booked, they most likely send you away, there is no concept of waiting in line for the next table to free up in Rome (there are some exceptions like most pizza places)
Tipping in restaurants is not expected, but it is always very much appreciated! Please remember that tips can only be left in cash so make sure to always have some smaller pieces on hand (it is also preferred when paying for small things like a coffee or water bottle in a bar)

In a city like Rome, guided food tours are popular but restrictive, and you might not get the most bang for your buck. And for some, touring a few specific places with a group of strangers is not their style.
Why not DIY and at your own pace while doing a little sightseeing as well?
This DIY tour will take you in a loop through the Centro Storico, Regola, Trastevere, and Jewish ghetto neighborhoods as you take in the sights and savor the local flavors of Rome.
Multiple options are included so you can repeat this another day but hit different spots!
Featuring:
🇮🇹 A recommended walking tour with various stops that will take you eating, drinking, and sightseeing through different neighborhoods in Rome
🇮🇹 Multiple options for food and drink in the different areas so you can select which places are best for you
🇮🇹 Descriptions of each eatery, including background information and details on atmosphere, in the notes sections
🇮🇹 Suggestions on what to order at each eatery based on personal experience and research
🇮🇹 Ideas to help inspire your own DIY tour comprised of whatever places you'd like!
⭐️ If you can't visit some of these places either because you get too full or too crunched for time, then create your own hit list and visit a different day!

While Italy is synonymous with the delightful tradition of Aperitivo, its cocktail scene is a whole other world waiting to be explored. As a seasoned traveller who appreciates a perfectly crafted drink (and the friendly chat with the bartender that often comes with it), I've had the pleasure of discovering countless incredible cocktail bars across the country. Whether it's a new city I'm visiting or a familiar favourite I'm revisiting, Italy never disappoints.
Lucky for me, Northern Italy is my home base, and it boasts a high concentration of exceptional options. However, the South holds its own when it comes to fantastic cocktail experiences (with Rome leading the charge) This guide represents my curated list of the best-of-the-best, a culmination of expert experiences and the occasional repeat visit for quality assurance (yes, sometimes a second or third try is necessary!).
Italy, after all, is the birthplace of iconic cocktail ingredients like Vermouth, Campari, and Aperol. But its treasure trove extends far beyond, with gems like St. Germain, Amaro, Grappa, Amaretto, Limoncello, and the hospitality worker's secret weapon - Fernet.

Italy is where I was born and where I live.
From the Alps to the coast of Sicily, I had the opportunity to travel and discover more about my country.
I was born in Galatina, in Lecce province and the city of pasticciotto (a famous local pastry), but I have always been living in Latina, a city south of Rome.
During these years I have been visiting a lot of place all around the Booth and I am ready to share my knowledge with you, so that you can have the best experience without stressing too much about planning and looking what to do.
This page is a working in progress, as I will regularly update it with more and more guides, so make sure to save it in order to be kept informed.
If you want a more customised itinerary or recommendations for you next Italian adventure, just click on my face above and choose what most suits you.
I am grateful for any feedback you may have and if share my guides it with your loved ones.

Every places that I loved the most in my Brazilian life.
From coffees to night life, grocery’s to fancy places, I have meticulously gathered all my favorites adresses, for you to experience an authentic Rio. I hope you’ll fall in love with this city as much as I did.
⚠️ About security:
Rio is effervescent. You can hear lot of things about danger here. It’s true, but as it is in every other big cities. As a Parisian, I wasn’t that much impressed.
Of course you have to be careful, but it’s all about commun sense.
- Do not film peoples or anything without autor in the favela.
- Do not show off & act chill.
- Do not drink to much, always keep your mind clear.
- Always keep a bit of cash with you in case someone tries to robe you.
- Please try to help the peoples around you & local economy. For exemple if you need a bottle of water or gums. it’s better to buy it from someone in the street than in a supermarket.
If you give respect, you receve respect.
Brazilian are some of the most welcoming peoples I’ve ever met.
