Serifos is like a quiet secret shared between friends. It doesn’t show off; it just kind of sneaks up on you, leaving this soft, lasting impression. The island’s beauty isn’t loud—it’s in the small, almost hidden things. The way olive trees whisper in the wind, how a sun-bleached path curves just right, or the steady, soothing rhythm of the waves gently brushing the shore 🐚
In Chora, time seems to stand still. The white walls glow in the fading light, and the sea below stretches out forever, perfectly mirroring the sky. It’s like the island is teaching you the art of slowing down, of just being in the moment, breathing in the peace that surrounds you 🌞
Serifos isn’t just a place you visit; it’s a place that stays with you. It’s like a favorite song you find yourself humming long after you’ve heard it, especially when life gets too hectic. It’s a reminder that somewhere out there, life is moving at a gentler pace, untouched by the rush of time 🧿

If you're looking for an affordable getaway and adventure for two (romantic) or solo, you'll find in this guide all the information you need to have a memorable weekend.
Do you enjoy snow sports or want to try skiing or snowboarding? Did you know that there's a ski resort right in the capital, Sofia, on the Vitosha mountain? It's ideal for those with little experience in these sports who don't want to spend a lot experimenting. Or for those who love snow sports and want to explore a new city without the mass tourism found in major European capitals.
Did you know that Bulgaria has one of the oldest cities in Europe? I'll show you which city that is and what you can see and do in a day there.
In this guide, you'll understand why you should go to Sofia if you have a limited budget, as it's a relatively cheap country. I'll also provide advice and suggestions for spending a day in the snow and engaging in winter sports.
Topics covered how to get there, suggestions for where to sleep and what to do and see in one of the oldest cities in Europe.
I hope you enjoy it, and happy reading! ;)

☕ Coffee, Bagels, & Views in French Canada's Cosmopolitan City of Montréal
Montréal is the largest city in Canada’s French-influenced province of Québec. It is named after Mount Royal, the stunning triple-peaked hill at the city’s center. The city itself is located on the largest island of the Hochelaga Archipelago off of the Saint Lawrence River; nine bridges of various sizes and designs connect Montréal to the surrounding areas. This guide outlines coffee shops, food, and activities.

Salento is the southernmost part of Puglia. It is the heel of the boot, and is situated between two seas: the Adriatic to the east and the Ionian to the west. You might have heard of places such as Lecce, Gallipoli, and Otranto, which are all cute towns found here! I’ve grown up spending all my summers with my family in Puglia, as half of my them are from here. Although we spend most of our time in Centrale Puglia we always make sure to enjoy at least a week in the Salento area. It has some of my favourite beaches, and I can't wait for you to discover them! From sandy shores with beach clubs to rocky coves perfect for cliff jumping and exploring, there's something for everyone.
Over the years, I've fallen in love with the local foods and ingredients, and I'm super excited to share them with you in this guide. Think of this as your starter pack for all things you should experience when traveling in Salento. I'll share the hidden gems I've found, from tiny towns to stunning beaches, and of course, the best spots to eat and drink. Whether you're visiting for the first time or you're a seasoned traveler, this guide will help you make the most of your Salento adventure.
