Piemonte holds a super special place in my heart. It is one of the most famous wine regions in all of Italy. Not only is it home to my personal favourite wine but it also has an incredible food scene and truly breathtaking landscapes. I was lucky enough to do my internship here a couple years back during the most exciting time to be in Piemonte - the fall. This is when harvest takes places for wineries so theres lots going on and so much to take part in. The leaves changing colours is magical to witness...hillsides incredible hues of orange and yellow. Lastly, it is the beginning of white truffle season so restaurants are bustling and it is time to indulge in some of the finest cuisine the region has to offer.
In this guide, I'll recommend my favourite and best wineries to visit, must try restaurants, and charming towns to explore.

Salento is the southernmost part of Puglia. It is the heel of the boot, and is situated between two seas: the Adriatic to the east and the Ionian to the west. You might have heard of places such as Lecce, Gallipoli, and Otranto, which are all cute towns found here! I’ve grown up spending all my summers with my family in Puglia, as half of my them are from here. Although we spend most of our time in Centrale Puglia we always make sure to enjoy at least a week in the Salento area. It has some of my favourite beaches, and I can't wait for you to discover them! From sandy shores with beach clubs to rocky coves perfect for cliff jumping and exploring, there's something for everyone.
Over the years, I've fallen in love with the local foods and ingredients, and I'm super excited to share them with you in this guide. Think of this as your starter pack for all things you should experience when traveling in Salento. I'll share the hidden gems I've found, from tiny towns to stunning beaches, and of course, the best spots to eat and drink. Whether you're visiting for the first time or you're a seasoned traveler, this guide will help you make the most of your Salento adventure.

Portofino is definitely one of those places you step foot into and ask yourself “how is this place real?” You truly feel like you are in a dream. It is a fishing village in the Italian Riviera and it is known for its charming port, luxury stores, fisherman boats, ad seafood restaurants. It is the combination of these things that make that harbour feel so special.
Portofino is much smaller in size than what people might imagine it to be and you can see it all in just a day. It is also quite expensive. It is definitely worth seeing but you don't necessarily need more than a day here, so what I recommend is staying in the town nearby, Santa Margherita, and venture off to Portofino for day trips or in the evenings. There’s a bus that takes you there in just 10 minutes.
That being said, here is everything I would do while in Portofino and what I think is actually worth seeing, eating and drinking!
