Start your day with a visit to the Spanish Steps, one of the most famous staircases in the world. The Spanish Steps were built in the early 18th century to connect the TrinitΓ dei Monti church with the Spanish Square below, a project funded by a French diplomat.
Walk to the Trevi Fountain and toss a coin to ensure your return to Rome. Every day, around β¬3,000 is thrown into the fountain, which is collected and used to support Rome's needy.
Visit the Pantheon, a marvel of ancient engineering. The Pantheonβs dome remains the largest unsupported concrete dome in the world, an architectural wonder even after nearly 2,000 years.
