Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is an eclectic city, an incredible mix of imperial palaces, sanctuaries, temples, but also cutting-edge neighborhoods full of huge skyscrapers and gigantic video.
Many of Tokyo's neighborhoods are like small cities, each with a different character: for example Shibuya is the district of young people, Akihabara of manga and electronics, Asakusa with its ancient temples and Ginza of luxury. Often you just need to get on the metro and get off at the next stop to see something completely different.
In this guide I don't just want to give you a list of things to see but I want to guide you to discover Tokyo through its neighborhoods.
By following an itinerary that is too precise you risk seeing the main attractions so quickly that you pass from one neighborhood to another without savoring the magic of the neighborhood itself. As everyone often says: "You either love Tokyo or you hate it" and
there are no truer words than these.
Unfortunately, Tokyo is a huge metropolis and at first glance it could give you a headache or even stun you!
In this guide you will find everything you need to best organize your trip to discover the greater Tokyo..
Inside you will find:
🗓️Best Time to visit
🚊Transportations
🏨 Where to stay
🏛️What to visit
☕️cafés
🍽️restaurants
🍹cocktail bar and nightlife
🎭activities
✨unusual places
📌1,3 and 6 day itineraries.
🎒excursions around Tokyo.
And lots of other information and advice that will help you better plan your stay...
Happy reading!👀

Osaka’s nickname, “Tenka no Daidokoro” (the nation’s kitchen), originally referred to its historical status as Japan’s rice-trade hub. Although no longer the hub for rice trade, Osaka is now known for being the food capital of Japan. Okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and kushikatsu are well-known Osaka dishes, but there are many more delicious foods to try while there. I personally love Osaka because the people are kind and outgoing, and the city itself has a lot to offer for visitors.

What better way to experience a city, than to be guided by a local resident. Join us as we dive into Berlin to experience street art, architecture and a world of history. The city offers expansive options making it easy to extend your trip for longer than just a weekend.
This ultimate Berlin city guide includes:
- Transportation options around Berlin
- Famous spots to see
- Things to do
- Where to eat
- Special Events

We had the unique experience to explore town while Germany is hosting the 2024 European Soccer Championship. A few spots have been closed due to their fan zone that would normally be open during the year. This has made it a fun way to experience the people and culture of Germany.
Berlin is well known for their eclectic and lively nightlife scene. While this is not something we did much with, it makes for a great way to spend the evening for those 18 and older.

There is a saying ‘See Naples, the die’. The German poet Goethe said this phrase when he visited the city and fell in love with its sun, its art, its people, and its vibe. I totally agree with Johan Wolfgang van Goethe. Naples is a city that I fall in love with over and repeatedly. And not just for its food. For its ART. 🖼️🎨
Yes, ART!
I created this guide for those of you who want to discover the treasures in the museums scattered throughout the town. Museums and treasures tucked away in churches, museums, and monumental complexes.
So let’s get started! 📒
The guide has my top picks of museums that are located in or near the city’s historic center. And of course, I also included some places to eat, because-well-we’re in Napoli! 😜

The Hawaiian island and tropical paradise of Oahu is best known for its beautiful beaches, warm blue waters, plethora of incredible hikes, stunning mountain landscapes, lush greenery, and vibrant surf culture. Now imagine: roaming the island in your own camper van rental… Waking up to the sounds of the ocean, setting up camp near the beach under a blanket of stars at night, and spending your days cruising around to one of Oahu’s incredible hikes, beaches, and surf spots - sound pretty nice? Then this guide is for you!
The reality of camper van vacations in Hawaii is that they can be a little tricky to navigate! The state has a strict law against sleeping in your vehicle and the island of Oahu has no state or county campsites open for car camping. BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t have an incredible camper van vacation! In fact, exploring Oahu in a campervan has been my absolute favorite way to experience the island. Which is exactly why I created this guide! To show you how to easily and LEGALLY plan a campervan vacation. With a little planning and preparation with the help of this guide, renting a camper van on Oahu can be an unforgettable adventure that allows you to see the island in a whole new way.
Here’s exactly what you can expect from my Oahu Camper Van Vacation guide 👇

This guide will focus on the North Shore and eastern coast of Oahu mainly with a bonus Waikiki mini-guide at the end!
The guide lays out instructions to help you plan your camper van vacation including:
1. Instructions and insider tips on how to legally plan your camper van vacation
2. 10+ camper van rental options with a variety of amenities to choose from including the exact van I used
3. 7 different campsite suggestions around the island that are set up specifically for camper vans (all come with bathrooms!!) including the place that I stayed (& loved!) during my own trip
4. Over a dozen of my favorite outdoor activities (including 7 hikes, 6 must-visit beaches, my favorite tours for swimming with wild dolphins and snorkeling with sharks, how to kayak or boat to the ocean sandbar, and surfboard lessons/rentals)
5. 10+ of my favorite island eateries
6. A mini-guide to Waikiki including my favorite hotels, food spots, and things to do
7. Educational resources & information on how to be a responsible traveler when visiting the islands of Hawaii

1. This is a LIVING guide: I will update it as I find more information and discover more places which means you have lifetime access to all updated information as it’s added!
2. I only make guides based on areas I have not only been to, but know well! I include both activities that I have done myself as well as those that are on my bucketlist for next time I visit. I have visited Ireland at least once a year of my 27 years and in more recent years, I have opted to fly in through Dublin because the flights are significantly cheaper and way more frequent than to Shannon. As a result, I tend to have a day or two in Dublin on either end of my trip to see friends, family, and the wonderful city of Dublin!
I had all my Dublin recommendations in various Notes on my phone for the longest time. Since we're getting married in Ireland in May 2024, I thought it was as good a time as ever to compile all my recommendations and some other people's recommendations (thank you Kenzie, Shannon and Greg) into one Local-ish Guide to Dublin for our guests traveling to Ireland.
Dublin is Ireland's capital and largest city on the island's east coast. The River Liffey (or the Sniffy Liffey as my Auntie Sandy calls it) runs right through the center of the city dividing it into Northside and Southside, and out to Dublin Bay which feeds into the Irish Sea. Dublin, which translates to "black pool" in Irish, was founded just south of the Liffey by the Vikings in 841. Ever since Dublin has endured a turbulent history but has prevailed and been shaped into the 21st-century city it is today.
At the very end of this document is an overview of language(s), currency, climate, live weather, the best time to visit, public transportation, what to pack, and of course, travel tips!
As always, I'm happy to help you plan a custom itinerary for your trip to Dublin or the rest of Ireland! Just reach out to me directly (:

You're in NYC baby - so of course, you want to enjoy some amazing views of the city. Might I suggest a rooftop?
Rooftop bars are probably the thing I get asked about the most when people ask me what they should do in NYC. So here's a map of my all-time favorite rooftop bars that are open year-round.
Most of these rooftops are in Manhattan - Midtown to be exact, but there are a few outliers, including a couple in Brooklyn - where you can see views of Brooklyn AND Manhattan!
Use the map function at the top right-hand corner of this guide to plan your trip & see which rooftops are closer to you. When you save this guide, all of the places will automatically appear on your main map as well. This map is living, meaning that when I come across new rooftops I like, I'll add them, and you'll automatically get an update if you've saved this guide!

I first visited Iceland 3 years ago after getting an internship out of nowhere. And since then I been coming back year after year discovering the country more and falling in love even deeper.
Iceland is the crazy combination of fire and ice, pure nature, crazy landscape and unbelievably welcoming people. Friends and family always asked me for recommendations and like that, I eventually came to make this 10-day itinerary that I'd like to share with you. You'll stop at the most iconic locations and do things like whale watching, ice cave hiking and exploring the glacier lagoon by boat.
The itinerary with renting a car in mind. If you want to travel to Iceland without a car check out my other guide on car-free and budget Iceland. You can do it solo or with as many people as you can fit in a car. You can either choose a budget version with camping or be more comfortable with apartments on the way. For example, if you were to travel with a friend the cheapest option would be renting 4x4 and camping with your own tents. That would be 480€ per person plus activities and if you choose all of them total would be 890€. You can explore all price options in an interactive spreadsheet.
What you'll find in this guide
✔️Day-to-day itinerary
✔️Recommendation for car rental
✔️Recommendation for activities
✔️Recommendations for restaurants
✔️Budget estimate for different styles (camping, camper van, hostels, hotels)
What you won't find in this guide
✖️Accommodation recommendations (depends on no. people traveling and your traveling style)

Portofino is definitely one of those places you step foot into and ask yourself “how is this place real?” You truly feel like you are in a dream. It is a fishing village in the Italian Riviera and it is known for its charming port, luxury stores, fisherman boats, ad seafood restaurants. It is the combination of these things that make that harbour feel so special.
Portofino is much smaller in size than what people might imagine it to be and you can see it all in just a day. It is also quite expensive. It is definitely worth seeing but you don't necessarily need more than a day here, so what I recommend is staying in the town nearby, Santa Margherita, and venture off to Portofino for day trips or in the evenings. There’s a bus that takes you there in just 10 minutes.
That being said, here is everything I would do while in Portofino and what I think is actually worth seeing, eating and drinking!

Being an exchange student in South Korea for over three months, I would encourage people to utilize this guidance when visiting Korea. That is one of my favorite tourist destinations. The culture, scenery, and people are all distinctive. You won't be sorry if you go. I dislike the idea of making a timed itinerary. This schedule is just intended to serve as a guide to the places you should see if you are visiting Korea for the first time. It will also not recommend eateries to you. While visiting a new area, I feel that discovering the restaurant on your own is more real. Furthermore, there are so many wonderful restaurants in Korea that it is impossible to select. This is your trip, and you have complete power over it. It is entirely up to you what you do after visiting the recommended locations.
