Active volcanoes. Dancing northern lights. Gushing geysers. Massive glaciers. Thermal hot springs. Thundering waterfalls. Iceland is the ultimate adventure destination. How have you not been here yet? It’s finally time. Start in the northernmost capital in the world. Reykjavik is a hip, modern city. Then start exploring the wild coastline, the sheep-filled countryside, the icy interior, and the peaceful islands. There are plenty of black-sand beaches, small fishing villages, turf-roofed houses, and epic hikes along the way. Just remember to pack layers. Sometimes, the Gulf Stream provides moderate temperatures. Other times, it’ll feel like you’re in the Arctic. Also don’t forget the long, dark winters and the 24-hour daylight during the short summers. If you take advantage of Icelandair’s free stopover program—a great excuse to visit Helsinki, Copenhagen, and even Paris—you can keep returning to discover which season you like best.

Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on all sides, has magnificent mountains, diverse landscapes, and natural resources. It is a small and densely populated country, so many highways have been built for transportation and connectivity. Regarding transportation options, I like to drive, and I've had a lot of experience driving around the world, such as Iceland, Armenia, and Romania. However, after such a journey, I think there are many highways and scenic spots in Taiwan that are not inferior to those in the rest of the world, and there are not a few highways with high mountains and dangerous roads that lead to the sea. Therefore, the highways in Taiwan shared in this guidebook mainly focus on the spectacular and beautiful scenery along the way; it also lists the three must-see scenic spots along each highway and introduces them from north to south. To give travelers in Taiwan can have a richer and more diverse travel experience.
But to add, if you want to find a historical and cultural or food-oriented highway, this list may not be the desire of the family, you can come to consult me. I will be delighted to be able to provide richer and will make you reminiscent of the attractions.

North Iceland is home to the Arctic Coast Way (a 550-mile coastal road) and the Diamond Circle (Goðafoss, Mývatn, Dettifoss, Ásbyrgi, and Húsavík). It's filled with rolling farmland, rugged mountains, retreating glaciers, roaring waterfalls, deep canyons, isolated fishing villages, and bubbling hot springs. Akureyri is the largest town outside of the Capital Region. Grímsey straddles the Arctic Circle. Life revolves around the midnight sun and the (nearly) polar night. While nothing is remotely close together. It takes planning and patience to travel around North Iceland. But those with both will be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams.

Milford Sound, known as the unofficial 8th Wonder of the World, is one of my favourite places in New Zealand and one of the countries most stunning natural attractions.
Located in the heart of Fiordland National Park, Milford Sound is home to rugged landscapes, mountain peaks, fiords, waterfalls, and some of the best hiking tracks in the world.
I’m a big, max-out-your-24-hours kind of traveler, so it’s not often I leave a place feeling as though my time there is unfinished. But I remember driving away from Fiordland, unable to take my eyes away from the tops of her mountains, feeling lucky to live in New Zealand and knowing I’d be back for more. However, most people only get the chance to visit Milford Sound once in their lifetime. So, I want to help you make the most of it!
I am a lover of hiking and this guide reflects it! You'll find two walks included that take 3 hours each. If you don't enjoy the outdoors, that's okay too! Feel free to omit them and choose another activity from my list at the end.
This itinerary is designed to be done in a campervan and does include driving. I HIGHLY recommend travelling New Zealand by campervan to stay in some of the most incredible places. BUT I'll also give you hotel recommendations too, just in case you're not into van-life.
In this guide, you'll find:
• An overview of Milford Sound
• Typical costs and how much I spent on my trip
• The best road trip stops on your drive from Queenstown
• Top rated accomodation and my favourite campsites
• Custom interactive maps full of all the important locations like campsites, supermarkets, airports and viewpoints on top of your full itinerary
• Local tips and inspiration, must-visit spots, hiking tracks, bucket list activities and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
• Much, much more.
This guide is your one-stop shop for everything you need to plan the ultimate New Zealand adventure!
You can follow this guide exactly for an amazing itinerary or combine it with your own research to create the trip of your dreams.
