Here's to making sure the girls trip always makes it out of the group chat! This itinerary will cover Seattle, Washington and the hidden gems of Rosalyn and Ronald, Washington, located 80 miles east of Seattle in the Cascade Mountains.

Pacific Northwest Girls Trip

Rental Car: Required. I recommend using the Turo App vs other rental car companies, the prices are always lower for me with simplistic pick up and drop off instructions, NO WAITING IN LINE! 

Airport: Fly into and out of Seattle Tacoma International Airport

Where to stay: We will cover this in a bit, you need time to prepare yourself for what might quite literally be the cutest airbnb of all time. 

I highly recommend staying in downtown Seattle in order to see and do as much as possible in the short time you are there. We stayed @ the Charter Hotel Seattle, Curio Collection. We stayed in a double queen room with a city view, it was extremely spacious... even for 4 girls who all managed to somehow pack a full checked bag and backpack for a long weekend. I also heard good things on the Warwick and citizen M when researching Seattle accommodations. 

-Walking distance to Pike Place Market, Kerry Park, Pier, Seattle Wheel, Spaceneedle, Starbucks Reserve, the famous Pink Door restaurant, and more.

-Rooftop bar and restaurant that overlooks the city

Unfortunately our flights got delayed out of Chicago O'hare and we didn't get in until 9:30 PM, here is what was slotted for night 1 had we made it on time

-Depending on the everyones mood / the weather

Option 1: Sunset and takeout food @ Gas Works Park or Kerry Park (walkable from hotel)

Option 2: Sunset drinks at our hotel rooftop or The Nest @ The Thompson Hotel

The girls were well rested and ready to make up for lost time, get ready for the best day in Seattle. 

-Wake up 45 mins prior to sunrise and head to Kerry Park, it is about a 45 minute walk from the hotel. We used the walk setting on our phone and it took us right there. I will warn you it is quite an elevated walk but the view at the top is worth it, we caught it on a cloudy day but it was still beautiful nonetheless. 

Coffee - Brim Coffee House @ Edgewater Hotel

-After taking in the views of Kerry Park, set your walking GPS to the Brim Coffee House @ Edgewater Hotel, this is about a 30 minute walk. Make sure when you see the water side walking path you hop on it, it will follow the water the entire way which makes for the best views. I couldn't believe this place wasn't busier, there is also a restaurant onsite with equally as impressive views if you need to get a bite to eat.

-We are almost done walking, I promise. Walk back to hotel (10-15 mins) and get ready to head over to the Pike Place Market (2 min walk from hotel). We intended to eat our weight in food at the market however due to it being quite busy even at 10 AM, we opted to walk around and take in the unique vendors and beautiful flowers and get brunch at Ben Paris right up the street instead. 

Recommended places to stop within Pike Place: Elleno's Greek yogurt, Rachel's Ginger Beer, Beechers Cheese, and Indi Chocolate

Right up the road from the Pike Place Market is the cutest brunch spot with even better food (hard to find both these days) called Ben Paris. We did not make a reservation and were able to get in on a Thursday morning around 11 no problem but I would recommend a reservation for the weekend.

How cute is this Yogurt parfait that came with our meal, oh peep the mimosa supplies, can't turn that down either!

Walk from Ben Paris to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery (17 min walk) for an espresso martini flight or one of their many other unique offerings. There are only 6 Starbucks Reserves in the world located in Shanghai, Milan, Tokyo, Chicago, New York, and the one you get to say you visited... SEATTLE!

Cherry Limone: 10/10 - my favorite! Exactly how it sounds

Mole Spice: 8/10 - she SPICY, I am personally a big fan of dirty iced chai tea lattes / spicy margaritas and this gave me a similar vibe. 

Orange Cacao: 8/10 - very refreshing, the perfect blend of coffee & citrus

**These might be small but they pack a punch**

This is the thing we will tell ours kids about when they get older.. a few of us went back to the hotel to relax for a bit while the more adventurous of the group made a pit stop at a tattoo shop on the walk back to the hotel

Head to Pier 50 and locate West Seattle Water Taxi, this was a little difficult to find at first but if you ask around at the different booths near the Seattle Wheel they will point you in the right direction. Tickets are $5 one way and you can buy using debit card at the machine or cash when you board. You can stand out on the deck for a the perfect 10 minute ride across the water to Alki beach where you will grab some late lunch @ a spritz at Salty's. 

Get off the dock and keep going left till you reach Salty's (4 min walk). We did not make a reservation as it was a week day but I would recommend doing so for sunset or on the weekend.

Once we got dropped off back in the city on the water taxi we stopped at a few shops on the Pier to look for souvenirs and grabbed an uber back to the hotel as we had well surpassed our steps goal at this point. It's time to get ready for pre dinner rooftop drinks and dinner at the famous Pink Door restaurant.

We ubered over to the Altitude Sky Lounge around 7 PM to catch sunset, we did not make a reservation but it was nearly full and we managed to luck out on one of the last outdoor tables. The drink prices here were pretty steep, I recommend splitting a bottle for the table if you are going for drinks. 

Italian Restaurant that has nightly entertainment, I made a reservation a month in advance for this spot and was only able to get a 8:45 PM slot, I would recommend reservations as soon as possible. We enjoyed the late night reservation as the restaurant was full of energy and they had live music as well. You walk the alley way until you find a hidden pink door which will be the entrance to the restaurant (2 mins from hotel)

That's a wrap on somehow seeing what felt like all of Seattle in 24 hours!

Spent the morning working out at the hotel and headed over to Oddfellows Cafe + Bar (10-15 min drive / uber) for some pre-hike fuel, the atmosphere here was awesome with open windows and fresh homemade dishes.

After breakfast you will start your drive towards your weekend stay in Ronald, Washington and stop to hike Rattlesnake Ledge on the way. Rattlesnake Ledge is about 40 minutes out of Seattle. This hike is moderate difficulty and a total of 5 miles up and back.
