🍔 Burgers are one of my favorite foods, so wherever I go, I make a point of seeking out the best ones. From my personal experience thus far, the burger transcends cultures, with each country putting their own spin on this universally-loved dish.
It made the most sense to begin with London, my adopted home, and a city brimming with burger tasting opportunity. Having tried many spots over the last 4 years, I bring to you, a (very) curated list of the best burgers in London. Options range from classic pub burgers to mouthwatering smashburgers and beyond - and all are unique to London/UK.
If you're as enthusiastic about burgers as I am and you don't see your favorites on the list, please do share over on Instagram @somethingsavored and I'll add to my must-try list!

Anyone who has tried to open their laptop at a café in Madrid has experienced the same thing- a server politely walking over and asking you to put it away.
Spaniards take their coffee culture very seriously, and apart of that culture is an atmosphere of extraversion and social space. This culture can make it very hard for university students or digital nomads to find a good place to work, and luckily, many cafés have begun to change their rules.
The following is a list of cafés in the city that will allow you to work at specific tables or specific times during the work week.
Unfortunately I don't think Madrileño coffee shop owners will ever let you open your laptop on a weekend, and considering all libraries are also closed, I'd suggest doing as the Spaniards do, and taking the weekend to relax for yourself <3

🌸 Primrose Hill is one of the prettiest neighborhoods in London. Situated in North London and easily accessible, it's a peaceful escape from the bustling city. It comes alive on the weekends when locals and visitors alike come to admire the gorgeous skyline view on a stroll through or picnic in the park. This guide contains some must-sees from the perspective of a local (hi!) for a great day exploring beautiful Primrose Hill.
Highlights include:
🏠 Strolling down colorful streets
🥐 Grabbing a pastry & coffee at a local cafe
🍻 Quaint pubs to laze the afternoon away
🏙️ A breathtaking view of the London skyline
To work Primrose Hill into your London trip itinerary, you'll need just a couple of hours (which of course depends on how long you spend at the park or in the pub!). I suggest combining Primrose Hill with a walk through Regent's Park towards Marylebone, a walk down the canal to Camden or head a bit further north to Hampstead.
If you're looking to stay in Primrose Hill, a boutique hotel just opened called Mason & Fifth.
