London Neighborhood Guide: Primrose Hill

London Neighborhood Guide: Primrose Hill

๐ŸŒธ Primrose Hill is one of the prettiest neighborhoods in London. Situated in North London and easily accessible, it's a peaceful escape from the bustling city. It comes alive on the weekends when locals and visitors alike come to admire the gorgeous skyline view on a stroll through or picnic in the park. This guide contains some must-sees from the perspective of a local (hi!) for a great day exploring beautiful Primrose Hill. Highlights include: ๐Ÿ  Strolling down colorful streets ๐Ÿฅ Grabbing a pastry & coffee at a local cafe ๐Ÿป Quaint pubs to laze the afternoon away ๐Ÿ™๏ธ A breathtaking view of the London skyline To work Primrose Hill into your London trip itinerary, you'll need just a couple of hours (which of course depends on how long you spend at the park or in the pub!). I suggest combining Primrose Hill with a walk through Regent's Park towards Marylebone, a walk down the canal to Camden or head a bit further north to Hampstead. If you're looking to stay in Primrose Hill, a boutique hotel just opened called Mason & Fifth.

A lovely bookshop in a charming neighborhood. Books line the walls and are piled on the tables making this a cozy spot to get lost in searching for the perfect read.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Seeking slow, savor-worthy travels? I curate food and design-led trips hitting local gems + must-see sights across London, Europe & the US. Hi! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm Julianna, a London-based, multi-passionate creative, digital marketer and traveler. I left my corporate job 6 years ago to freelance and to start my small accessories brand, Maragold Designs. Having long-been a travel resource for family, friends and friends-of-friends, I'm looking forward to now pursuing my love of travel in a way that helps others experience places to their fullest! I've always longed for a way to more widely share the knowledge that Iโ€™ve gained through first hand experience, countless hours of research and, compiling of recommendations. Enter Thatch! Before moving to London 4 years ago, I lived in Boston and am originally from a small town in Massachusetts. I grew up across the street from my family's Italian-American restaurant which was established in 1933 by my great grandparents who emigrated from Italy. From an early age, this instilled in me a deep appreciation for small businesses. They're truly the heartbeat of any community and I love discovering special local spots on my travels. Check out my guides for some special spots!
