Siracusa, the name of a city that calls to mind a glorious history, today like in the past, overlooks a stunning bay which is also one of the best natural harbors of the Mediterranean. Siracusa's incomparable history, spanning several millennia, has left traces all over the city, like layers overlapping one another that are just waiting to be read. Among these archeological remnants, the most notable are those of the golden years of the ancient Greek period, but also the Roman inheritance is rich, as well as the stunning baroque masterpieces that embellish the island of Ortigia. Nowadays, Siracusa is a quiet city with a historical heritage and unique beauty that bears witness to its magnificent past, but its territory is also equally naturally spectacular. This is proven by the presence of an amazing Mediterranean coast and several nature reserves protecting the local sea, freshwaters, gorges and wetlands. For archeology and art history enthusiasts, Italian culture and culinary addicts, and also for nature and Mediterranean sea lovers, a visit to Siracusa is an essential part of an Italian trip. This itinerary includes: - 🏛️ Detailed information on how to make the most of 3 days in Siracusa - 🏺 Recommended sites with historical facts about the treasures of the city - 🥾 Deeper insights on culture and history, to enhance our step by step walking tour to all the most important sites of the island of Ortigia, the heart of Siracusa for millennia - 🛤️ Practical travel planning, including the surroundings and the best periods for the visit, arrival details and hotel suggestions Our 3 day itinerary ensures that you'll see the key sites and gives you the historical and natural context to appreciate them. I first visited Iceland 3 years ago after getting an internship out of nowhere. And since then I been coming back year after year discovering the country more and falling in love even deeper. Iceland is the crazy combination of fire and ice, pure nature, crazy landscape and unbelievably welcoming people. Friends and family always asked me for recommendations and like that, I eventually came to make this 4-day itinerary that I'd like to share with you. It's perfect if you are on a tight schedule but still want to make the most out of it The itinerary is with renting a camper or a car in mind. If you want to travel to Iceland without a car check out my other guide on car-free and budget Iceland. You can do it solo or with as many people as you can fit in a car. You can either choose a budget version with camping or be more comfortable with apartments on the way. For example, if you were to travel with a friend the cheapest option would be renting 4x4 and camping with your own tents. What you'll find in this guide ✔️Day-to-day itinerary ✔️Recommendation for car rental ✔️Recommendation for activities ✔️Budget estimate for different styles (camping, camper van, hostels, hotels) ✔️Accommodation recommendations for camping grounds What you won't find in this guide ✖️Recommendations for restaurants (depends on your taste and budget)

From Malaga to Malaga passing through well- and lesser-known places. In Spanish it is called "La Ronda de Andalucía" 🇪🇸 Do you know what we liked most ? All the smells on the roads and the friendliness of the Andalusians. This itinerary, result of many hours of research, has been planned for a 10-day trip but can also be used partially or for a longer time. You can also simply take inspiration from it, use the places it contains or combine our insights with your own researches to create your perfect trip. In this guide you will find 💡an interactive map 💡a google map itinerary with all the directions of where to go and more than 100 places 💡accommodations, restaurants, bars, tips and impressions and... a selection of Spanish wines (all tested and approved by us) 💡optional adds for modifying or extending your stay This is a great itinerary if you're coming to Andalusia for the first time and want to combine sightseeing, landscapes, nature, beautiful roads and culinary delights. It's more of an itinerary than an impersonal listing of must-see places and "best" addresses, although you'll find plenty to add to your own interests. We did it on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, but it's suitable for all types of medium-sized vehicles. Tag us in the photos you take, I’d love to see you there !

Sharing my personal list of 200 local spots in over 23 Kootenay communities! The Kootenay region is a haven for anyone seeking recreation and relaxation, who wants something a tad quieter than Banff and Canmore. Located just West of the Southern Canadian Rockies, the Kootenays have charming small towns, jaw-dropping landscapes, friendly people, a relaxed energy and more trails than one could possible explore in a lifetime. As a local who lives here, and has travelled throughout the East and West Kootenays, there are so many incredible places/things/spots/shops in this region that deserve the same hype as their Alberta mountain town neighbours. The Kootenay's are just as cool (but quieter and more affordable)! Included in my list of 200 favourite local Kootenay spots, you'll find.. - Local Coffee Shops - Local Shops & Specialty Stores - Local Accommodations - Local Restaurants & Cafes - Local activities, trails and must see's* ⭐️ = My #1 must see in the community! Everywhere listed in the guide is a place I have personally been, or a place that I have on my list to visit as quickly as possible (but that I know other locals visit and love). * All the trails, activities and recreation recommendations are beginner/family friendly, no multi-day or difficult hikes here. If you're really into a specific sport, this guide will really help shape the rest of your trip to the area outside of your hike/ride/skiing. The Kootenays are a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, active families and nature lovers - an incredible destination to explore for all.
