Wine and dine

One Park
@robynlee
Delicious heritage inspired eatery serving small bites and cocktails. They also have an incredible listening bar which also has some cool local art. A must visit in Cape Town if you're looking for vibes.

Ramenhead
@robynlee
If you love Ramen, you must try this place. They serve a small, but outstanding menu of Ramen. Flavourful broths, freshly made noodles and tender meats. A perfect hearty meal for the winter, especially with some sake or Japanese whisky. Dinner is served in two sittings, either at 6pm or 7:30pm. Arrive early to secure a table.

Culture Wine Bar
@robynlee
Incredible selection of wines, by the glass and bottle. Arrange a tasting with a sommelier for the full experience. My favourite wine bar in the city.

A stylish cocktail bar in the heart of the city, with regular jazz nights, live performances and vinyl DJs. Enjoy your drinks on the balcony on warm nights.

If you need a bottle or two of wine to take home, this place is it. Visit any one of their locations. There are regular wine tasting evenings, too, if you need help making a pick.

Out and about

Bo-Kaap
@robynlee
A beautiful and historic old quarter of the city centre, Bokaap streets are cobbled and lined with colourful houses. Join a free walking tour or book a guided walk for the best experience and to take in the history of the area. Stop at Atlas Spices to pick up a few spices for home cooking, or at Biesmiellah Restaurant for delicious Cape Malay cuisine. I recommend the roti and koesisters.

Sea Point Promenade
@robynlee
One of the best walks along the beach, along Seapoint Promenade. Especially nice in the mornings or at sunset, or even for a picnic with friends. There's a wildlife photography installation as well as an outdoor gym, park and plenty of places to have dinner or drinks along Beach Road. A must visit in Cape Town.

Kloof Corner
@robynlee
A quick but intense hike or walk up the hill with what seems like a thousand steps. The most incredible views of the city and Table Mountain. Go in pairs or a group.

Cecilia, Table Mountain
@robynlee
Walk along the mountain, towards the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the left for beautiful views and fynbos. Walks are best in groups during peak visiting times, in the mornings between 7am and 10am, or in the afternoon between 4pm and 6pm.
