Quick Trip: 3 days in Medellin, Colombia

A city that has been transformed into a young, vibrant, cool place to enjoy great food, nightlife, nature, while still appreciating it's history. Medellin is beautiful, nestled in a massive valley, but easy to get around. Base yourself in El Poblado and explore on day trips, including a getaway to Guatape.

Where to Stay

El Poblado is the place to stay in Medellin.

Benefits: This is where everything happens in Medellin. It's the main tourist neighborhood and there are amazing hotels that are walkable to great restaurants and nightlife. You can get great deals on 4 and 5 star spots with superb rooms and facilities.

Beware: When you stay in the hotspot, there will definitely be noise, so know that most hotels have rooftop bars and the nightlife goes late.

At the edge of El Poblado, a quieter choice with large rooms, a nice restaurant, and breakfast with views of the city from its rooftop. Good value hotel.
