Valencia is a city located on the east coast of Spain, being the third largest city after Madrid and Barcelona. ​​Having a special charm, given by the architecture and the beauty of the streets where you can walk as long as your legs hold you, it is a vibrant and welcoming city with a rich cultural heritage and plenty of sights to see. For me, it was the first time visiting Valencia and I was very pleasantly impressed and I will describe in detail the itinerary I followed in this city break. I took the trip in the winter, in January, with the idea of ​​escaping the cold in my country and taking advantage of the Mediterranean climate. The weather was perfect for exploring the city, it rained a little, but that didn't spoil my plans. Valencia is the capital of the autonomous community of Valencia and the third-most populated municipality in Spain. It's a Mediterranean city with culture, festivals, gastronomy and nature.

In 2021 I had the pleasure to go on a road trip along the beautiful Costa Blanca in Spain. Being over 20 times in Spain, I can promise that this area was my most favorite. Enjoy a full travel guide for 6 different cities: Valencia, Denia, Calpe, Altea, Alicante and Elche. For each city I provided recommendations for restaurants, hotels, what to see and do, beautiful spots in nature as well as a list of the most beautfiul beaches along this route.

I strongly believe that the best way to get in touch with the culture and traditions of a country is to visit different cities that identify it. As far as Spain is concerned, this concept is even stronger because Catalonia and Andalusia are similar in some ways but different in others and crossing different cities to get to know the different facets is the best thing and the one I recommend. This trip turned out to be wonderful and I hope it will be helpful to those who want to plan a tour similar to the one I did. Spain is a land that transmits positivity. The weather is almost always good and sunny, the people very sociable and helpful, the food very good and the culture very strong and identifying.
