Accomodantion Recommendation
This is the boat where I stayed with my friend during our time there. It's a boat in the marina area, not near the city centre. It was a nice experience with many pros like sunrise and sunset near the beach, friendly people from other boats and quiet time near the sea. The cons for this boat specifically were how small it was for two and the need to use marina showers which were not the best. Overall the price was worth it.
And here below you can find my Valencia Accomodation guides.
🚆 Transportations
If you are staying near the centre, you should have everything within walking distance, aside from the City of Science or the beach, but if you don't there are metros, buses and taxis.
Metros in Valencia is quite good, it connects the airport and city centre in just around 30 minutes and costs around €5. But if you need it at night, forget about it because it will close before midnight.
But don't worry, because taxis are so cheap that if you are more than two people, you will think twice about the two, even during daylight.
Hopefully, they will change it, but to my disappointment, there are not easy to rent bikes and e-scooters. You can rent them from one of those shops where you will need to choose how long to have it for and give it back after it, instead of having the app, renting it for a short time and leaving it around the city like you can do in Barcelona.
Day 1
Start your day discovering the city centre where you will get to see the main historical places, the typical narrow streets, typical shops and tapas bars.
Details
Spend the lunch time at Mercado Central and try the typical street food.
Details
After lunch, I would strongly suggest taking a 'siesta' like every Spanish person is used to, which if you never heard of it is a post-lunch nap. Once you are relaxed, come back into the streets and walk around while enjoying the local shops and characteristic buildings.
Details
For dinner time, head to this restaurant where you can enjoy sangria while sitting outside, feeling the nice breeze and that feeling you only have when you in holiday in places like Spain.

Day 2
This day is all about the City of Science area. It's huge so book the whole day just for this.
Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias
@yourfriend_chichi
If you like to create content, I would suggest getting there around 8ish so that you have time to go around and make your videos and pics without people. It will not be open yet, but a lot of content opportunities, and it will be so peaceful.
The tickets for the Science Museum and the Hemispheric start at euro €6.70 each, while the Oceanografic starts at €25.
I decided to just visit the Oceanographic and to enjoy the rest of them from the outside only, but if you are a family you might like it all.
Details
If you are on a bugdget, get to this mall to get food.
Centre Comercial Saler
@yourfriend_chichi
This is a mall just 5 minutes walk from the Ciudad de Artes y Ciencias with a supermarket in it and a few food places too. So if you are on a budget, I would suggest getting something to eat there instead of the food places in the Ciudad as they are overpriced, like usual in these places.
Details
Get a break in L'Umbracle, with all the green (which means a lot of shade too) and a relaxing vibe.
L' Umbracle
@yourfriend_chichi
This is a garden next to the Ciudad de Artes y Ciencas. It is so nice, refreshing and perfect for a break in between the different buildings.
In the night time, it's a nice bar and disco, and everyone (locals) recommended going. But my friend and I didn't feel like drinking and partying, so can't say anything about that.

Flexi Bikes & Boats
@yourfriend_chichi
This is where you can rent the clear kayak (what we did) or other similar things. It's a must-do in my opinion! We were one of the first to do it, so it wasn't overcrowded yet and we had so much fun, for real!
You need to pay €2.50 per person per 10 minutes, and as we both wanted to be in front, we paid a total of €10. They open at 11 am FYI.
One thing nobody told us about is the amount of water you will get on yourself! After this, we felt we entered the pool till our belly! But luckily, it was a very hot day so we dry after a bit. If you don't like the feeling, or look, maybe bring a change.

If you are a fun of sealife, you can't miss the Oceanografic.
L'Oceanogràfic
@yourfriend_chichi
I love the sea and one of my dreams was to see dolphins, so I decided to go for this one, even if a bit more pricey.
I've spent around 5 hours in there, so I would recommend doing it after lunch or with the mindset to spend money in there if not.
The place is huge and has all sorts of animals. From birds to fishes, turtles and crocodiles, and even a dolphin show.
The dolphin show is very interesting as they explain how they study and help dolphins, and it seems they treat them well. Before you start your discovery, check the show times and plan to take your seat at least 30 minutes before. I would recommend getting halfway in the path so that you can have a long break from walking.
Some parts can be really overcrowded, especially the tunnels where is so nice to see sharks and turtles passing over you.
Details
If you want to come back to this area for dinner and drinks, I would recommend this fish and seafood place, followed to drinks at L'Umbracle.
Ostras Pedrín Ciencias
@yourfriend_chichi
We've been to the one in the city centre, but I guess they will have the same vibe more or less.
They have only fish and seafood, Oysters are their speciality as the name suggests, and they have different types.
I don't eat seafood or fish, but my friend loved it and was very happy with it.
Details
Day 3
Spend a day in the beach and enjoy the sea.
Malvarrosa beach (Valencia)
@yourfriend_chichi
Everybody was so hyped about this beach that I expected it to be amazing, but I was a bit disappointed tbh. I come from a city with sea and beaches, and maybe that's why.
Me and my friend were staying just around the corner, so we enjoyed a sunrise bath which was amazing and felt magical. The water was so calm and warm, the sun coming up and just very few people around.
During the day it gets crowded and just feels like a normal beach, but it's always nice to spend a day just chilling in there.
Details
This is the experience we did, but there are so many in Get Your Guide! It was very nice, we were very few people and could ask songs request, which helped us feel the vibe even more. Watching the sunset is beautiful, but seeing from a boat is even better, in my opinion.
How to perfectly end the day? With a class of sangria while having dinner in the city center.
Los Gómez Taberna
@yourfriend_chichi
This restaurant was so nice and with a sophisticated vibe,
We had some croquetas as started and tried the typical paella from Valencia as the main. Paella is usually a dish served for two, so make sure the other person wants to try it too.
The normal paella is with seafood and chicken, while the typical one in Valencia has rabbit and chicken, with no seafood at all.
Details
Day 4
Enjoy the last moments around the city and then trasnfer to the airport.
La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia
@yourfriend_chichi
I didn't get the chance to visit this one, but it sounds so interesting.
Details
If you don't want to visit anymore, I would recommend just chilling around, and getting a last drink while enjoying the nice view of the city.
If you are a digital nomad and still need to get your work done before flying, I would recommend this cafe.
Federal Valencia
@yourfriend_chichi
If you are a digital nomad, this cafe is perfect for you.
They are so used to people working there, that they will ask about it first thing.
The prices are a bit pricy compared to other places, but the vibe is 100% on point. The matcha latte was one of the best tried, and the brownies were so good.
Their internet has some limitations on the time, but if you have your own it's not a big issue.
Details
If you are not excited about one of the days, I would highly recommend spending one day in the Albufera area.
Locals recommended to get there to enjoy very nice food, more local and affordable, and to enjoy the natural view of both the park and beaches.
Details
This is it, but please do let me know if you want more information and I will be happy to add them ✨
