Valencia is a city located on the east coast of Spain, being the third largest city after Madrid and Barcelona. Having a special charm, given by the architecture and the beauty of the streets where you can walk as long as your legs hold you, it is a vibrant and welcoming city with a rich cultural heritage and plenty of sights to see.
For me, it was the first time visiting Valencia and I was very pleasantly impressed and I will describe in detail the itinerary I followed in this city break.
I took the trip in the winter, in January, with the idea of escaping the cold in my country and taking advantage of the Mediterranean climate. The weather was perfect for exploring the city, it rained a little, but that didn't spoil my plans.

How to get to Valencia
The city airport is Valencia airport (VLC) and it is very well connected to the city center by metro. There are also flights to the Castellon airport, but it is a bit further from Valencia, so I advise you to look carefully before purchasing your plane tickets to know for sure on which airport you land.

From the airport you can take the metro to easily get to the city center. There are two lines that connect the airport to the center, L3 and L5, Red and Green.
Where to stay
I chose a hotel in the central area of Valencia, Hotel Mediterraneo, which had a very good price during the chosen period.
