📅 Best time to visit
Spring (although prices can be higher during Holy Week and the April fair) and Fall. Avoid summer months because when it gets really hot, the heat can become really uncomfortable.
🚕 Transportation
Seville is a rather small city, and most of the major attractions, shops and restaurants are within walking distance of one another, so you can visit it without spending anything on transportation.
If you plan on renting a bike, Seville offers bicycle lanes and a public rental system which is super easy to use (and the first half an hour on your bike is free).
You also have the bus which costs €1,40 for one-way trips and tickets can be purchased on the bus or from machines at most bus stops.
🆓 "Free Mondays"
Monday is the main day for freebies at many of the city’s attractions. For most of them you must reserve in advance online, as numbers are limited.
• Catedral de Sevilla (Free to visit from 4:30pm to 6pm)
• Real Alcázar (Free for the last hour, from 4pm-5pm)
• Palacio de las Duenas (Free tickets are only available from the ticket office, from 4pm on the day of the visit. Queues can form before this.)
• Torre del Oro (Free to visit all day)
Day 1
The first day immerses you in the city's beauty, starting with the Jardines del Prado's tranquility. You'll explore the grandeur of Plaza de España, where you can even catch a glimpse of flamenco dancers showcasing their passion💃🏽 Have lunch nearby and stroll through Parque de Maria Luisa, admire the architecture of Plaza de América and marvel at the Torre de Oro's historic significance. Cap it off with an evening of drinks and tapas at Calle Mateos Gago.
Day 2
Day 2 unfolds with a visit to the awe-inspiring Catedral de Sevilla, followed by a climb up La Giralda for panoramic views of the city. Savor a delicious lunch at Five Guys before exploring the historic Plaza del Triunfo and Archivo de Indias. End your day on a high note at the rooftop of Hotel Casa de Indias by Intur with a view to Setas de Seville, and enjoy dinner after that to complete your memorable second day in Seville.
Day 3
Day 3 starts with a visit to the amazing Palacio de las Dueñas, where you should spend about 1 hour. I recommend following it with a Brunch.
In the afternoon, start by visiting Palacio de los Venerables - this will be a short but memorable stop. The highlight is the Chapel adorned with exquisite baroque details. Head of to Pura Vida Terazza for drinks and chilling before going to Setas de Seville. Now the trick here is to book your ticket for Setas right before the sunset, so you can experience the views in the daylight, during the sunset and also at night with the lights.
Finish of your day enjoying the best of spanish Tapas in Cerveceria Giralda Bar.
Day 4
For the last day, visit one of the main attractions of Seville (Royal Alcázar) in the morning after a quick stroll by the University and then have lunch and head over to Triana, saving about two hours for this part of the day. Visit Mercado de Triana (before 3PM) and eat some tapas there, walk around the colorful Calle Betis and finish off with hot chocolate & churros.
If you have extra time, here are a few other activities and places you can add to your itinerary :)
