What people say

"The imposing and peculiar structure of the Setas de Sevilla (literally "Mushrooms of Seville") measures 150 x 70 metres and is 26 metres high. Around 250 metres of walkways run along its roof, offering fantastic panoramic views of the city. In the underground part of the monument is the Antiquarium, a valuable archaeological site where important remains from the Roman, Visigothic and Islamic periods are preserved. Despite its relatively recent construction, in 2011, the Setas de Sevilla have become one of Seville's main attractions. At first glance, the monument seems shocking and one gets the impression that it does not fit into the context in which it is located. However, as you walk along the walkways of its viewpoint and enjoy its peculiar hidden charm, this impression changes and you get the feeling that the structure is in harmony with the Plaza de la Encarnación. You can book a tour of the Setas de Sevilla with virtual reality glasses that combine history and technology."

"This was one of my favorite attractions. I didn't expect to like it so much. Once you reach the top with a futuristic elevator, you walk up a ramp to the right and left following the audio guide. There is also the option to have a photo taken from above for an extra charge. At the end or beginning of the guide, there is a small room where a presentation video about the city of Seville is shown. Don't go during the hottest hours because you won't be able to enjoy the visit. There is a breathtaking view of the rooftops of Seville. Highly recommended for photography enthusiasts! "The Setas de Sevilla, or "Seville’s Mushrooms," is an innovative architectural landmark that stands out in the heart of the city. Officially known as Metropol Parasol, this striking wooden structure features a series of interconnected parasol-like canopies that offer a unique contrast to Seville’s historic architecture. Visitors can ascend to the elevated walkway for sweeping panoramic views of the city and its landmarks. The Setas also house a bustling market, an archaeological museum, and various dining options, making it a vibrant and multifunctional space that beautifully blends modern design with cultural engagement."
