This is one section of my Europe travel summary — be sure to check out the full guide!

3 essentials for a comfortable and enjoyable journey:

In this map list, I’ll gather and summarize restaurants, cafes, and snack stalls I’ve visited, as well as budget-friendly and nice hotels, some of which are pet-friendly — I occasionally travel with a 5kg Maltipoo.

1. We all need our daily dose of caffeine.

Many people love finding boutique coffee shops, and I’ve saved some of my favorites here! Once you’ve saved this guide, you can find these spots under the “Cafe” category on your Thatch map.

Here’s a tip: instead of searching for “Starbucks” or “coffeeshops” on Google Maps (which can be misleading in the Netherlands), try searching for “espresso” instead—you’ll thank me!

2. I don’t want to waste any travel meal opportunities.

And I refuse to settle for just any place.

Sorry, I love meat and have no allergies, but I’m not a fan of heavily processed foods.

3. I want a room with a view.

But first, it needs to have a safe, a mini-fridge, and a 24-hour front desk. Plus, sometimes I want to bring my Maltipoo along with me.

These collected spots aren’t in any particular order (if you open the route view, you’ll see a jumble of lines), and I might add and describe my experiences long after visiting a place. So, this is VERY IMPORTANT:

Save this guide 📱,

and you’ll find these places under ‘Your Map’ in the mobile app or ‘Your Saved Places’ on the website.

Use the category tab to easily find your next spot while you’re on the go!

Last but not least,

Enjoy your time around!

Here’s my personal collection of markets, including those I’ve visited and want to visit, all with my notes and video diaries. It’s currently available for free. If you’re into authentic markets, save and use it!

Feel free to check out my other travel experiences! And save my other itineraries and map lists below to book your next trip! 🌹🌹🌹

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
hortus quaerens
Welcome to my travel journey on Thatch! I love to take it easy and stroll through bustling city streets; I also love to get away from the crowds and seek out lesser-known peaceful gardens. 🌆⛲️🌳🏛️ My guides are mainly divided into two types: itineraries and maps/lists. The published itineraries are all point-to-point, and have been meticulously planned, implemented and optimized. The maps are more personalized, targeting individual cities or themes, filled with my on-the-ground experiences and thoughts, and are constantly being updated. 📺👇 You can preview all my travel diaries and experiences on my youtube channel. 🗺️📱 Buy my guides to plan your next trip. Then before you go, save them on your mobile device to access these lists anytime, anywhere!
